Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed the two day stay at Springlands Hotel immedialtey after we landed in Kilimanjaro Airport and on the last day after Kilimanjaro. The common areas of the hotel (restaurant, poolside, bar and compound) have beautiful finishes that give a peaceful relaxed aura. The rooms that we slept in were very nice and relaxing. The staff was friendly and eager to help when called upon. Food was served buffet style and we had enough variety including local dishes. We will be coming back to this hotel again.

We stayed at Springlands Hotel in Moshi on our first and last nights in Tanzania. The location was perfect for Kilimanjaro trekking and airport departures. We are very happy with the hospitality from Rehma the hotel manager and her wonderful staff.
The rooms were very neat and beds comfortable, they are exactly what we needed after the long flight and arduous Kilimanjaro trek. They mainly serve buffet dinner and breakfast but also accommodate special requests to orders.
The lovely grounds were perfect for evening and morning walks followed by a dip in their lovely pool.
Thank you very much Rehma for being a perfect hot, we really had a great time,

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Springlands Hotel in Moshi before/after our Kilimanjaro climb and after our safari. The hotel is beautiful and perfect for travelers who don’t mind spending a little bit more for quality. The whole hotel is immaculately done with classy finishes including a nice pool. The rooms are very neat, cozy and well maintained. The staff were warm and friendly and met all our needs. Dining was a great experience as the food was fresh, a wide variety to choose from the buffet. It surely felt like a home away from home.

Last week my mates and I stayed for a night at Springlands Hotel our Kilimanjaro trek. The staff were very friendly and helping us to our rooms, setting the showers, towels and later showing us to the dining area where we had dinner.
The next morning was passed too quickly and we sadly did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool and the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was filling and fresh.
Thank you Springlands for a wonderful time

Springlands Hotel was the perfect home-away-from-home while we were in Tanzania. They operate in conjunction with Zara Tours as the spring pad for safaris and Kilimanjaro climbs, but are available for other bookings as well.
They're systems were streamlined to work well for tourists who are going in and out. They have a really safe and secure system for storing luggage and valuables while you're out on your adventure. They were so hospitable in helping us figure out the details of our trip. For example, one of the staff members (Modest) went out and bought a SIM card for me when I gave him money. They also helped several people in our group coordinate getting their COVID tests to go home.
The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. Additionally, the food was delicious. They were also really accommodating with our unique travel schedules. Shoutout to Amadeus for the best food and service!
We travelled during COVID and the staff took all necessary precautions and we felt really safe staying with them.
I highly recommend Springlands Hotel and their staff to anyone traveling in the Moshi Area of Tanzania.

Owned by Zara Tours a good hotel for those that are heading off/returning from Kilimanjaro or like us, starting their safari. Clean and tidy don't expect the Ritz, do expect comfortable beds and good showers. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful and could teach many higher western standard hotels a thing or two about customer service. Food is perfectly fine buffet fayre. Plenty of it and wholesome so you wont god hungry. We were part of a small safari tour but the acid test for anybody reading this who is travelling independently. Would we book again if travelling by ourselves? The answer is abig fat yes. That dear reader as an experienced traveller should tell you all you need to know.
Onwards and upwards.

I have stayed twice at Springland hotel in Moshi, both before and after my climp up mount Kilimanjaro, in 2019 and 2020.
The hotel has all you can ask for, swimmingpool, nice and clean rooms, wifi that works great, a nice garden with a lot of small cozy places to sit and enjoy a "Kilimanjaro bia" or a cool coca cola. But best of all is the incredible nice and friendly staff, they do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This last stay, i had some problems with my bank, but the staff ensured me that everything would be okay, they were a really really great help when i felt all lost (and yes. everything went well)
Even though i only stayed a couple of days (before and after my climbs) it felt like home, the staff remembered me, and knew my name.
my best recommendations for this place.

We felt very safe and at home here. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food was good and the pool was refreshing. We stayed in a room with 2 adults and 2 teens and had plenty of room for suitcases without being cramped. We would definitely stay here again.

At Springlands hotel the staff go out of their way to ensure one has a comfortable stay. We arrived tired and hungry around 10.00 pm and found that Rehma the manager and our new found friend had made arrangements for dinner! They took care of everything to the smallest detail. I had forgotten my phone and camera charging in my room and they sent someone to bring the items to Rongai gate. I want to highlight that the fine food, comfortable clean room, cool ambience, excellent service and personal touch by Rehma and team did it for me.
I would not hesitate to come back and for a longer stay

Hello there!
I stayed at Springland over 5 times now as Tour Leader at Kilimanjaro and friend of the owners. ZARA is the best in town, for sure! Absolutely: the safari guide will meet before the start (unless you fly in really late) for a meet and greet and to check for your wishes and maybe dietary needs (vegie, etc...)
No worries! You are in good hands!
Enjoy the trip and my regards to Zainab, Roger and staff
Wim
Dear Leanne,
Greetings from Zara tours in Tanzania,
We have a small safe box at the hotel for ornament and other valuable items such as money, travel document, watch and mobile phone, each day would be charged one USD and for large one would be charged US$4 per day.
Also, we have a large protected storage room for your luggage while on the mountain or Safari for free.
We at Zara tours are looking forward to meeting you for a memorable holiday experience.
Hello, when we went we arranged by email our pick up. We told them the flight info and they were there to pick us up with a mini van.
