We stayed with my family at AMEG for the graduation of our daughter at |ISM Moshi. Ideal place with very relaxing atmosphere, it has a very nice gym and for those who love outdoor activities such as walking around in the evening, or jogging this would be the place to be. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The service...

Stayed at Ameg for 12 nights as a base for activities in the region. The staff is unusually helpful and friendly. The setting is peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Meals and amenities on site for a convenient stay. Highly recommended.

Shikamoo Mzee Mike! Thank you for such a positive review. It was a great pleasure to have you stay with us at Ameg. The team at Ameg remember you as the 'perfect gentleman', and we all miss your cheerful nature that brought a smile to our faces on a typical stressful day. We hope you are doing well, and we...

Having lived in Moshi for the past year, AMEG has been a life-saver. My wife and I have a monthly gym/pool membership (~$65/month) and it's definitely worth it. They have free weights, a number of machines (Smith machine, cables, etc.), and a decently-sized aerobics area with kick-boxing equipment. On top of that, the pool deck is a great place to...

Visited many times over 6 weeks to use the gym and pool facilities and ate at the restaurant many times. The facilities are good and usually clean. The staff are very well trained, extremely attentive and friendly. All the food is of a high standard and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The owner is a top guy and always...

Hi Andrew. Thanks for taking the time to write us a detailed and fantastic review. Your kind words were much appreciated by the Ameg team and we are glad you have thoroughly enjoyed your visits to Ameg. Gordon our celebrity Marabou stork is actually quite harmless, it's the 'top guy owner' that you have to watch out for ... lol!...

Very nice hotel with a lovely garden. The rooms are clean and simple, with air conditioning and mosquito nets. The big fitness area is good. There's a small pool with cold water which is great when relaxing by the pool on hot days. There's a lot of sunbeds and parasols. The staff are very nice and skilled. Okay prices, but...

We are grateful for your kind words, and happy to know that you enjoyed the pizzas at Ameg. Due to the popularity of our pizzas, we have recently introduced the 'Create Your Own Pizza by the Pool' on Sunday afternoons, which has also been well received by our visitors. Thank you again for visiting Ameg.

We have stayed in Moshi for 8 weeks and have been to Ameg many times. The pool is really nice and clean, the sunbeds are comfortable and the service is great! We have been eating both lunch and dinner and there is a large variety - all we have tasted is lovely! We have really enjoyed our days at Ameg...

Thank you for visiting Ameg and for your kind comments. We are indeed blessed with our location ... whilst there is a feeling of being in a lodge in the African bush, we are only a 2 minute drive from Moshi Town. Thank you for appreciating this as well as our staff who are always overjoyed to hear that they...

It's a great place to come and relax. I did not actually stay in their rooms so I cannot speak to that but I came here and bought a day use pass so had access to the pool and gym. They also have a restaurant. It was great! They take great care of their pool, it's always very clean and...

Thank you for the great review. We are pleased to hear that you have been enjoying the pool and gym facility. "Gordon" the Marabou stork who has become somewhat of a celebrity also loves Ameg and is regularly seen in the gardens and pool area with his friends. Once again, asante and karibu tena to Ameg Lodge!

The staff are welcoming and friendly, always willing to help. The Lodge is set in lovely gardens, away from the town centre. But the town centre is easy to access by taxi. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. I would return at the first opportunity.
