The name of this place has changed back to Jacaranda. Stayed for 2 nights in January. Very comfortable with lovely gardens. Also walking distance to YMCA swimming pool which is a plus in hot Moshi . Good breakfast, and although evening meals are not served they will order a Chinese takeaway. Staff very friendly.

Jacaranda is situated in Majengo, a short walk from Moshi town which is fine during the day, but requires a taxi ride at night (approx 3,000 TSH each way). We thought it was possible to get dinner here, but this wasn't available so we found ourselves going into town every evening. Breakfast, cooked by the lovely Helen, can be served... More

Just a 10-15 minute walk from Central Moshi, Jacaranda is a good place to spend a night or two in Moshi. The rooms are very basic, but the beds were large and comfortable with a good mosquito net and there is a good deal of storage space within the rooms. The grounds are beautifully kept and the breakfast although standard... More

We stayed here two days/nights in order to sort our Kili trip. Lady who run it spoke great English and seemed highly respected by local people/companies. They obviously live of each other, but it seemed she was able to get us decent company n decent price for the trip (we initially booked only return flights to Tanzania, nothing more). At... More

I loved this place. The rooms are very comfortable and have excellent mosquito nets and a little fridge. The garden is full of birds and the ample breakfast can be taken outside on the patio. Behind the b&b there's a good view of Kilimanjaro. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. On the... More

Small B&B run by a nice owner who cooks breakfast in the dining area in the morning. Good, solid breakfast. Room is decent sized. One computer with internet for use. Owner goes to bed rather early, so if you are arriving later (i.e., after 8pm), you should probably let her know. We were stuck outside the gate for a while... More

Jacaranda is a tranquil and relaxing B&B situated outside of the hustle and bustle of Moshi. It's a mere 5 minute taxi ride from the center of town which you should only pay 2.50euro for. The rooms are very comfortable, we stayed here before and after our trek up Kilimanaro and on our return the very comfortable beds and hot... More

Jacaranda B&B is situated in a side street of the thoroughfare Arusha - Himo Road in Moshi. It is behind tall walls and fences, and is a very safe place to stay - even though Shuleni Street on which it is situated is a run down dirt track.
