I stayed at this B&B, which is actually a family home. Sandra made us very welcome and extended her help by going out of her way to ensure we were happy. We changed the way in which we wanted the Safari to be tailored for us at the last minute and Sandra went above and beyond to ensure that they...

We really enjoyed our stay at Tembo Tamu. Sandra was fantastic - she spent a lot of time making arrangements for us with our safari and ensuring we had the best stay possible. We did a 4 day safari to the Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater through Tembo Tamu and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our driver and chef Gilbert and Hamis...

We stayed here for 9 days in January 2017. We were collected at the airport and warmly welcomed by Sandra the owner. We stayed in the cottage and it was lovely, the breakfast was first class and we mainly ate there in the evening too - Sandra is a fabulous cook and great fun. We also booked the two day...

Sandra & Frank open more than their home to their guests, this place truly felt like visiting old friends. I spent 5 nights in Moshi while my wife completed the Mt Kilamanjaro trek. Sandra went well beyond the normal hostess role to make me welcome and comfortable. An example of this is that I had a slight accident while away...

The Tembo Tamu (sweet elephant) enjoys a certain reputation of being the "go-to" place in Moshi and our seven-night stay there only cements it. Sandra and Franck are very warm and generous hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible (tours, guides, taxis, reservations, checking flight schedules, information about Moshi and many more)....

Tempo Tamu is a classic B&B--family-based, casual, friendly, good location on quiet street in a residential neighborhood a walk from the center city, There are only a few rooms for guests, so reserve well in advance. The rooms are clean comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need. The main house and additional housing building are surrounded by gardens, trees, porches...
