Third round I am staying here for the price and comfort. You arrive from the airport by shuttle bus to its town terminal and you simply walk into the hotel. Restaurant and bar are good. Good meeting place for friends to chat.

The hotel room was greatly priced and comes with hot shower and toiletries. The room was fitted with aircond n ceiling fan. The television had various local and international channels. The bed is comfortable and clean. The room rate comes with simple breakfast. The staffs were friendly and all are locals. The hotel location was great; near to supermarket, souvenir...

Basic and comfortable. Great view from the rooftop bar of Mt Kilimanjaro. The staff seemed clueless when I asked what I could see from the top but the climb is worth it. The level of English in Tanzania is low and this also was reflected in the hotel staff. $50 per double room. Simple, clean and comfortable. Internet was poor...

Surpringly quick check-in at 03.00 am. Then you see the room: entrance is by regular key not card (althoug I hear some rooms do have card entry), the mini fridge sits on a chair in a fragile equilibrium and is not plugged in, the bathroom looks like one of the 1-star hotel, hot water is an illusion and wireless internet...

The staff who are the back bone of any hotel lacked Abby enthusiasm and dragged to do shy sort of work. Breakfast was pathetic they had fruits which got finished when the first five guests came and was not refilled again for other guests. The rooms are spacious but not kept well we had four doubles as a family on...

We turned up without reservations and got two singles on the second floor. Bizarrely, the power cable of the wall-mounted flatscreen TV in my room was about 150cms too short to reach the socket - not that I wanted to watch it anyway. Apparently a previous guest had stolen the extension lead. There's a good view of Kilimanjaro from the...

I stayed here because my Brandt guide semi-raved about it. Unfortunately I don't share it's enthusiasm. Firstly, I made a reservation which was confirmed via e-mail, but upon a arriving, they had no record of my reservation, but had a room available anyway. The hotel and room we were given was dark, especially our bathroom which had a broken light....

We were part of a group of 17 World Challenge expeditioners (13 teenagers) and leaders. Compared with our tents it was luxurious and having stayed for 4 nights split by a trip to Ngorogoro Crater and our ascent of Kili it felt like home! It was convenient, the food was ok and by preordering and having our rooms contacted when...
