The place is quite with good atmosphere. The staff was really nice and responsible. It was a bit far from city center, but you can find Piki piki at the closest road. The place can arrange any trip you want to do- day trip, kilimanjaro and maro mountain

We stayed in Better In for two days before Kilimanjaro. The place is very clean and confortable. The wifi connection is good. However we were surprised with the brilliant attention of the people working there. In addition, very tasty breakfast and good plates for lunch and dinner, specially rice with vegetables. Oni&Jon

Amos Lufumbilo, The Managing Director who is a man of the utmost integrity & his wonderful Assistant, Issa Hamisi facilitate this spectacular Hostel & also offer many tours at highly reasonable prices! I was first greeted at the gate by Borealis, a most friendly employee who’s BEST attribute is her attention to Customer Service & superb efficiency assisting Tourists with anything imaginable! The sensational Chef, Danny has attended school specifically for preparing gourmet meals ranging from their complimentary Breakfast to a varied menu for lunch & dinner = quite impressive! Noela, prides herself in keeping immaculately clean Guest Rooms & full bathrooms with flush toilets, hot showers & a sink area. The mosquito nets are carefully draped like a canopy over each King Sized Bed with white sheets, pillows & a cozy blanket. A plush towel is provided daily or as often as a Guest chooses! Noela is also available to wash Guests clothing for a very reasonable rate. My main goal for staying in the Moshi area for a year is to volunteer teach in various schools, to observe watching students in action in other schools & assisting in an Orphanage. In terms of school highlights “The Faraja School” + Boarding Home to 100 severely Physically Challenged students from age 7 to 18 was a monumental experience! I was personally driven the two hour distance each way by Issa in Amos’ vehicle = YES Guests are treated like royalty!. It is an honor to be a Guest here & I feel quite blessed! I highly recommend The Better in for your stay while in Moshi.
I stayed at the better with my dad inn before our Kilimanjaro Trek. Our twin room was quite nice and relaxing after our long flight from Sydney and layover in Dubai. The staff are absolutely amazing and helped us settle in nicely and also organized to have an early breakfast drop-off at our Kilimanjaro agent. All this for a very reasonable cost
This cosy and tranquil inn is located in Moshi was our stop before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. The hotel is quite new so the furnishings are in mint condition and everything is working well. I found the rooms to be spacious with huge queen-size beds and firm mattresses. All the rooms that I saw were ensuite with a WC and hot shower and were very clean. I loved the continental breakfast on both mornings that was served fresh. We were offered free airport transfer on our departure which was a nice touch. There is a well manicured garden where one can relax and also has WIFI. I loved this place and it is great value
