We had arranged for a pick up at the airport ... I am still waiting ! The bungalow was run down, old, no electricity after 3 pm, wich is a problem when they advertise a room with a fan ! Bathroom is bad ! The dinner for 15$, is more than average compared to what we have been eating this...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Didimiza. My son and I stay there for three nights in February. Beautiful tropical paradise with coconut trees, flowering plants and lots of solitude. Bungalows are basic but clean and well cared for. Porch is lovely for sitting and reading. We were very well cared for. The staff was attentive and friendly. Food was...

The tiny guest house on Mafia's east coast is absolutely wonderful. Nicky and Mohammed welcomed us friendly and cared for us enthusiastically during our 3 day stay. Accomodation is very simple and clean, nicely located close to the mangrove coast and a little beach, but also only 20 min walk away from the bigger beach in utende. The food was...

Didimiza is a special combination of a lovely place run by great people. It is a simple no frills guest house. Jethro Baines travelled with us and he has captured the essentials well. Just to add to the magic of the place they have a little nest? of fire flies that are enchanting. We had to visit them every night...

This was a family get together holiday and we could not have been more pleased with everything offered to us at Didimiza. Nicki was always on hand to organise our excursions and we managed to fit in several snorkelling trips, swimming with whale sharks, a sandbank visit and island tours of Mafia and Chole. She did a fantastic job and...

She arranged the airport pick up. Helped us get our dive equipment to the dive center. Arranged a super whale shark trip with Afro Whale Shark. Arranged transport whenever...

Didimiza is a simple but very nice guesthouse, conveniently located bordering a mangrove forest and close to the islands main Bay (diving) and Chole Island. Although the facilities are basic, Nikki and Mudi made our stay very pleasant and were extremely helpful in arranging transport, whale shark tour and providing all kinds of insiders advice on where to go and...

Simple, clean and excellent food. Free transfer to the village. Good service, the last night they organized an amazing outdoor dinner underneath the stars. A Place to relax, not to party. A bit hot at night, there is no aircondition. Camilla, Margrethe and Berit from Norway

I stayed at the Didimiza Guesthouse for the 2nd week of Feb 2015. After a very long and exhausting trip my first impressions were "Wow what a sweet, well kept little place". Nicki who manages the guesthouse was really friendly and welcoming and very informative about local places and activities. The bungalow was basic but a good size and very...
