We rang the door bell at this guesthouse not knowing what to expect.  We were a shown a couple of rooms and both looked attractive.  The owner offers a full breakfast and there is ample secure parking in the back. There is a swimming pool to cool off on hot days. We were very pleased with our room.  The bed...

A very well set out accommodation with nice rooms overlooking a lovely small pool. Lounges and sofas outside to chill out. Friendly staff and sumptuous breakfast. Will certainly stay again if we are in the area.

This is a really nice B&B furnitured and decorated in a Dutch style. The rooms are of good size and clean. It is located at Marsh Street which is the main street of Mossle Bay, so shops, bars and restaurants are well in walking distance. The beach is also not very far away. Approx. 5 minutes by car. Also this...

We were there for only 1 night (luckily). It's a very outdated place, poorly maintained and that shows: the toilet stopped flushing and it couldn't be fixed immediately. The bathtub had scorched spots; they tried to cover that with ugly plates. The shower faucet didn't work properly (was loose) so taking a decent shower wasn't going to happen. There were...

A small nice guesthouse, with good value for money. Rooms are small but tasteful and what to expect from a 3 star BB. Nice backyard with a small pool and private parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, god breakfast. Make sure you go down to the "Point" and eat at the fantastic restaurant "Kingfisher".

We had a wonderful time at Huijs de Marquette. The rooms are kept immaculately clean and the breakfast is freshly cooked. They bake their own bread and other goodies which are served at breakfast. And best of all, Bianca and her team made us feel very welcome here! When we left it felt as if we were leaving friends behind....

We have to strongly disagree with the previous reviews of this establishment. Because of the bad reviews we wanted to cancell, but thank heavens we did not. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful B&B. Bianca and her staff were wonderful. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely relaxing time around the pool...

We made a mistake and booked 2 nights in this aweful guest house. Our room was on the side of the main road (although I saw they had nicer rooms on the other side which were free I think) and we did not sleep very good. There must be a bus stop just right in front of the window and...

We arrived at 8:30pm and left by 10am the following morning on our travels along the Garden Route. This guest house is very basic and was fine for an overnight stay but wouldn't stay there any longer. Our room was quite large but very dated i.e. the 1970s pink bathroom could do with a coat of paint!! Air con in...

Although some of the photos do resemble parts of this guest house, it was a major, and I mean major disappointment! When we were shown to our room, it didnt resemble any of the photographs on the website. It was tired, old, dank, smelled of damp and right on the main road. Needless to say I didnt sleep very well...
