Cottages look very nice/charming on the outside and inside. But on closer inspection, our unit had: -black mold in skylights of both bunkbed rooms (and room smelled of mold) -sewer smell in double room -black mold around sink and leaking shower in bathroom -black mold in master bathroom Giving it a 1 star because the amount of mold is unacceptable,... We ended up getting a villa not attached to the guesthouse. The villa had a full equipped kitchen, small living room and small bathrooms but enough for one night sleep for a group of 9 people. It's closer to restaurants and the beach.

On our arrival at this beautiful G.H we were welcomed in one of the most professional manners by our host De Waal. We were showed to our room and was amazed. Very friendly service. Beautiful views. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was included and devine. Anyone who visits Mosselbay should stay here. It was amazing. Close to restaurants and beach. We will be back.

The hosts are so welcoming and friendly! We truly felt at home. Our room 8 was up steep stairs but it's great at the top with a lovely outside deck. Superb sunrise and sunset views. Lovely breakfast trays delivered to the room. Fridge in room plus very comfortable bed. The loo and bath is pretty much open plan so not... More

People that run this are very friendly & helpful but unfortunately they manage the cottages/lodges for people so each one is of a different standard and the one we booked had been sold on so we were allocated a different one and it didn't live up to expectations, luckily 2 nights was all we had to spend here,I would say... We stayed in Zelda's Cottage (4 people). Quaint cottage in the Point Village. One row up from the beach, with lovely deck on the roof with an umbrella and seating. Great views over the roof of the house in front and to the back (lighthouse). Saw lots of dolphins and seals. 20 metre walk to the beach, very close walk... More

We stayed here in Mossel bay for 2 days. Since we a family of nine, we got an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 1 bedroom in another apartment. My husband and I stayed at the one which was in another apartment, the owner of which stays in the apartment itself. Our room was nice and big and opened to the... More

We were aware that this was not overlooking the sea from the booking information but one row back in an "enclave" of close packed holiday cottages (#12). Literally 20 yards from the beach (but beware its not sandy and mainly rock pools. Other beaches in Mossel Bay have pristine sand) Very comfortable - 3 rooms 1 double 1 twin and... More

Whenever I travel to Or through Mossel Bay I always book my accommodation through Point Village & in 10 years I haven't been disappointed. As we were a party of 6, I choose a spacious 3 bed roomed apartment with fantastic & uninterrupted sea view. Accommodation was spotless & all fabrics & furnishings were of a high standard. With 3...
