The food is superb, the hospitality is over the top. You are made to feel as if you are at someone's home and treated in uber luxury. Fireplaces are in every room... More

We stayed two nights at the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge and we loved it! The staff could not have been more polite and accommodating. The room was so cozy and comfortable. The gorilla trek was an awesome experience. If I ever come back, which I hope I do, I would definitely come back to this lodge.

We stayed at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge for three nights and it was terrific. The staff were so attentive and they made everything we asked for happen. The grounds were beautifully kept and you really felt like you were in the middle of the wilderness. Fires lit in every fireplace made the lodge feel so cozy and inviting and brought everyone... We stayed three nights at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, and loved every minute. We arrived direct from a very long flight, and were surprised by our breathlessness on the fairly steep trek up to the lodge - until we realised (should have done our research) that we were 2,500m above sea level. For those of us who live at sea level,... More

I was at Sabyinyo for 5 nights in October 2016. From the pickup in Kigali forward, it could not have been better. The lodge is located in a gorgeous setting. You are welcomed to the lodge (after a little hike up from the parking area) with hot towels and cold lemonade. The manager, Jessie, was superb, making sure that every... More

Great Location, Overpriced, Amazing Gorillas The lodge is about 3 hours drive from the airport, depending on traffic. On the way to the lodge, we stopped to see the Genocide Museum.
