I went there with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. Stayed at the lodge for 3 nights and I'd do it again. Best breakfast I've ever had in my life!!! Beautiful place with very nice views. You can hear the waves of lake Kivu and you can see it in a distance. Very helpful staff and lots of food. I... More

There are many advantages of the place, but here are some: -localization - outside the town , about 15 minutes and ca 1500 RWF by motorbikes from center of Gisenyi.Small resort on the hill with beautiful view on the lake. Only one bungalow and few tents -rooms - very clean bedding, very clean toilets and showers, but they are not... More

I stayed here for just one night as a precursor to getting the ferry to Kibuye in the morning but I loved it. I stayed in one of the tents and had fantastic views out over the lake from the chair located outside the entrance door. There was also loads of birds and lizards about which gave it a really... We had one night at Inzu Lodge prior to doing the Congo Nile cycle ride. We stayed in some lovely locations during our holiday in Rwanda, but this was, by far, the best by a mile. It was very comfortable (I slept all night which is unusual), clean, quiet and very relaxing. The food was lovely (again, the best food... More

We stayed one night with our tent while hiking down Lake Kivu, but could've stayed longer. The hospitality from the staff was fantastic - warm, welcoming and non-obtrusive. The food, in particular the breakfast, was great. Big portions of fruit and well prepared dishes kept us happy. Packed lunches were also big, tasty and good value for money. WiFi could've... More

Stayed three nights with friends. Great views and amazing food - vegetarians and vegans are well catered for here. Calm atmosphere and the chill out / eating area was the highlight. So calm and with other travellers to chat to should you want to. Only small gripe was you need to book up tents as they go fast and we... More

My friends and I stayed at INZU lodge in August 2013 and it made for the most memorable stay ever. The location was stunning with very comfortable beds in beautiful safari-style tents. We were able to go to the edge of the lake and enjoy drinks on the private beach owned by another local hotel. The staff were accommodating and... More

Inzu Lodge is placed in a beautiful garden on a hill with fantastic view of Lake Kivu. It is a budget lodge, so prices are cheap, but the facilities also reflect this. The tents are old and could need some maintenance (there were quite a few holes in the tents). The mattresses are not very good - with holes you... More

This place is a good starting point for exploring the eastern shore of Lake Kivu. While the beds are not very comfortable and the outdoor bathrooms shared, the atmosphere is friendly, the food good and the service great. Just make sure to order dinner in time!
