I have some good memories from this place. They have good service and its a good budget place where you meet very interesting people. The place is safe and you feel comfortable. I used this place as a base, meaning i could leave my heavy backpack here for days and only take a small rucksack for going for trips to...

Sure there is a better hotel in the city of Mopti. For example, Hotel Kanaga is in 5 minutes walk from it, immediately on the Niger river bank and luxurious. But it's several times more expensive. If you are looking for a budget option, nice, calm and cozy place, I would recommend Y'A Pas de Probleme Hotel. Close to the...

with an almost king sized bed plus two twins -- a good room for a family. The staff were very helpful and the rooftop restaurant was a convenience -- decent food and quite an interesting ambiance. We left at 6 am for the road trip to Timbuktu and breakfast was not a problem even that early. Wi-Fi worked well. Our...

It's close to the Niger river and has a small pool that you can enjoy afternoon with a cup of tonic, everything is simple and crude but I like it, just stayed one night where left me a unforgettable memory.

Setting is very atmospheric, with many Mali style cloths, paintings and masks displayed here and there. Rooftop restaurant is very nice and cool breeze at night is welcome change from deadly heat of the day. I stayed in double room which was spacious enough and a/c worked very well. Toilet and shower wasn't that good though. I mean considering this...

Have to add another good review to this mix. We loved this place - it was our favourite stay during our trip to West Africa. We stayed in the dorm, which had 6-8 beds. Bathrooms were right outside the door and very clean. Everything was very clean. There were also several outlets in the room. The double rooms when we...

I have stayed here several times and long to go back. It is an excellent base for travel to the north and the escarpment. It has a lovely ambience. Over the years I have met several different and interesting guests passing through. The pool area is welcome after hot and dusty travel. The staff are great - one is an...

We stayed for a night in an airconditioned double room. Room was basic but not dirty. AC worked. Toilet paper roll in bathroom was dirty an plumbing was rudimentary. Dinner on the terrace was fairly good compared to other places in Mopti. Breakfast (instant coffee qnd bread with butter and jam) took 20 minutes to show up. We stayed there...

This is another hotel with options for all budgets; note that “room with shower” is just that and does not include a toilet and sink! Ask to see the room first. Trustworthy-they will hold your bag for you for free while you travel to other cities. Rooftop restaurant is convenient especially for solo woman travelers like me! Nice place to...

A plus for travelers of all ages. Swimming pool, free/fast internet and the roof-top restaurant/bar served excellent dinners. It is a short walk to an ATM Machine and Independence Avenue on the Bani River. Perfect place with atmosphere and neatest of rooms. A busy place but relaxed one.
