A very beautiful lake, full of wildlife, highly recommended for bird watching, but also with hipos, giraffes, wildebeest and zebras. We slept in nice safari tents near the lake and in the middle of the animals.

What a beautiful place!!! We spent a weekend there in June. Accomodation is arranged in a rebuilt stable and the rooms are very nice. Each room has a small porch with a nice view including giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeast. It is possible to take a ride around the properties as well. Half board includes a lovely breakfast on...

A viewing tower cum restaurant gives one the chance to sip on a coffee (or something stronger ) and watch animals go by. There are zebra, wildebeest and water buck a-plenty and so the odd giraffe and buffalo wandering by if you are lucky. It's a good place to unwind after a morning in the gorges of Hells Gate.

Best Day Trip Ever = Sanctuary Farm We were in Nairobi on business and only had one day to ourselves. We bee-lined to Naivasha for a Horse-Back Riding Safari, and easily found Sanctuary Farm. I didn’t realize Sanctuary Farm was, indeed, a working farm and not “just” a safe haven for wild animals. I ended up reliving childhood memories of...

After a long drive around the south lake and looking at all the accommodation available we kept going back to the idea of staying at sanctuary farm. And we waited until some guests checked out at the end of the day and eventually got some rooms, to say that this place is a little heaven is understating it! It's one...

This lodge is excellent value for money.... I would definitely recommend it if you would like to stay in Naivasha and you're interested in the great outdoors ... walks, horse-riding, farming, boat trips etc. The rooms are converted stables so they are little but they are also lovely, there is a great new swimming pool and the restaurant (converted Polo...

Such an amazing place....such amazing staff.... such amazing service..... perfect place to do NOTHING!! Staff at club house got us whatever we needed. Even had fresh fish from the lake made as per our instructions. Just be careful of walking to your rooms if you see buffaloes around. Get the guard to escort you.

Everything is simple but tasteful, from the decoration to the food. Homey, with wild animals roaming around on the front and back gardens. Helpful and friendly staffs. The food is worth coming back for. From the tapenade, the sangria soup, the varieties of delicious salad, breaded fried chicken, and the cheese board. Clean and airy room. Love the lemongrass shampoo and...

We spent four nights at Sanctuary Farm with our seven year old son and we could not have asked for a better holiday. We stayed in the converted stable block, which was very comfortable and within a stone's throw of the pool, which we took advantage of. Wildlife is abundant and two highlights were the boat trip and horse riding...
