We were a group of 3 recent uni graduates and loved our stay at Camp Carnelley's. Having travelled from hectic Nairobi this was exactly the kind of break we needed. The camp is lovely and peaceful. We stayed in one of the new twin Bandas which was super cosy and looked right out onto the lake. We got up close...

Carnelley's is by far the best place to stay, in or around, Naivasha. Excellent food, and a great bar, with great atmosphere. Camp grounds are excellent with lots of space, right on the lakeshore, and well maintained with everything you need. Different rooms and Bandas are also available for those who don't want to camp, unique in design, and very...

After three weeks of roaming around Kenya, staying in noisy hotels with broken showers and windows and being ripped off at KWS properties - it came as an absolute delight to encounter Camp Carnelley's. Set at the edge of tranquil Lake Naivasha, there is little to dislike and everything to enjoy about the place. The whole place seems tastefully setup...

We have already stayed a few times at Camp Carnelly's now and we have never been disappointed! The accommodation are mostly basic bungalows/bandas, but they are very clean and comfortable, set in a huge green garden directly down by the lake. Hippos are regular night visitors down by the lake shore. There is also a possibility to camp in your...

Camp Carnelleys is hands down my favourite place on Lake Naivasha. The property is beautiful and very peaceful! A great place to unwind and relax....the accommodation options are really nice and very personal. Being right on the lake shore we spend hours sitting on the jetty fishing, bird watching, and once in a while the hippos come along. The restaurant...

My friends and i went there on a Saturday afternoon from Nairobi just to have lunch. Two of us ordered the spicy crayfish, one of us ordered for nachos. The other two ordered for the spicy crayfish after ours had already come and looked really good. It was actually very good. However, when the other two plates came, their food...

We've been here in the evening and the with the fireplace and friendly service the atmosphere was great. I had an chicken burger wich was quit big and very good. We've paid $65 for 2 pizzas, 1 burger and 10 samosas.

We stayed in one of the new bandas. They are small wood tents with no closure on their windows and heavy blankets as curtains. Mosquito net was a bit broken and got biten once. The bar has a lot of character and food is occidentalised but tasty. Is in front of the lake and we could see a hippo just...

We stayed one day/night in one of the cabins during our safari tour. This was the one of 6 different lodges/camps we stayed at. The other lodges had well landscaped entrances and large lobbies. None of that at Carnellys so when we first arrived we were a little concerned that this place was a major downgrade. But after our stay,...

We stayed for 2 nights in their nice bandas, which is very basic but fits the camping theme and we grew to like it. Shower is from solar heated and limited supply. Power plug is available out in the patio. What it lacks in creature comfort, the site itself more than makeup for it. The site faced the lake and...
