The most wonderful gem of a hotel. Tucked in a beautiful location making it convenient to get to the city centre and all the other amenities. The facilities are amazing! impeccably clean, huge rooms with all the necessities. I especially enjoyed having my dinners in the evening by the bar, such a lovely ambiance. The staff were always friendly, helpful and ready to assist with any queries. However, the food sealed the deal for me!! So so tasty and the service was always fast and efficient. A lovely lovely stay that I’ll cherish. Would recommend 10/10 don’t miss out if you’re ever in Kisumu.

I have been to this establishment a good number of times in the past to eat and had pleasant experiences. I wanted to use the pool this time for swimming and was denied use because "the director said people should not swim dressed like that." If you have issues with visitors who want to swim wearing bikinis, place posters everywhere stating the same. Also, make it known before they pay. It was irritating having to wait for my refund to be processed.

Given a clean and comfortable room with a view of lake Victoria we were welcomed with a glass of fresh Mango. There were however two standouts aside from the hospitality: the poolside bar where we were made to feel at home and the food (the lamb samosas and burger were highlights...) We will be sure to stay there when back to Kisumu again.

We visited in December 2019 on a business trip. Lobby was clean and staff was friendly. But to my surprise the next morning we woke up to roaches in the kitchen and the bedroom. Being from the USA I was apalled. I will never stay here again.

From the outside you may judge it harshly due to the roads that lead to the hotel. But once you arrive at the gate, you realize how beautiful the hotel looks and on arrival at the reception you are welcomed with a cold glass of juice. Checking in is very fast and staff are very warm and friendly. The rooms are not very big but nice, cosy and well furnished. Though it would be good to have the hot water kettle in the room for coffee addicts like me. I enjoyed my stay.
