Stellar service, amazing hospitality. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. For the corporate traveler and even leisure travel. The staff are courteous and professional. I will definitely visit with them again.
Incredible hospitality! This was our first visit to this lovely hotel. We sought a quiet location to unwind and appreciate the cuisine and surroundings after a stressful family gathering. Luke, the doorman, greeted us with open arms upon our arrival. We were pleasantly delighted to be welcomed into a Deluxe room with a stunning view of the Maragoli Hills. Our room was spacious and featured a terrace overlooking the Tropical Garden. The rooms are lovely, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with so many options to chose from. They also have an excellent restaurant serving exquisite cuisine. Beatrice was the one who served us. She was courteous, professional, friendly, and efficient. I hosted a dinner party for members of my family. We were a group of ten. The service provided by the doorman/security, reception, and the restaurant was outstanding. We were accompanied by a lady named Beatrice. She recommended the best dish for my family. Her suggestion was ideal. We ate Kuku-Kienyeji as well as other delicacies. We had a great time. She remained our dining advisor till we checked out of the hotel. We could see she was passionate about her work. The management joined us for breakfast on our last day to thank us for promoting their hotel by staying during the Coronavirus pandemic. They were grateful for our visit and offered us a wonderful bottle of wine as a present. Beatrice & Luke, Thank you for making our stay memorable We will definitely come back with my family and friends…
Late review but not to late since this is my second stay while in Kisumu. A come back is probably a surety of excellent service. Reception is amazing, not to forget the service at the restaurant, the lady is very much experienced with a rare kind of hospitality. From 5am birds chirping and warm weathers is a sure place to be. I will be back
Most excellent location, first class service, excellent food, with quite a variety for breakfast, and the rooms are exceptional. Priced at a decent amount and definitely providing value for money, I would highly recommend it.
First off, I would like to apologize to RGS for a late review. I should have written this review in January given the excellent and memorable experience we had with you in Kisumu Kenya. For those who are planning to stay here, you will never regret it. Here's why: The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Kisumu town so you get to enjoy all the peace and quiet yet still being close to the town. The staff here are excellent!! I really do mean excellent, right from the very courtoeus gatekeepers to the front desk staff and the dining room staff. I miss you all. We never met anybody here who was not smiling! You made our visit memorable. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, and exceptionally clean. They have all the supplies you need. They will even bring you complimentary fruits and dessert to your room! This hotel truly is amazing! It also has beautiful gardens for those who love outdoor weddings I also would really like to thank all your staff who were involved in making my husband's birthday celebration one for the record books! We loved that gorgeous pool by the way. All the meals you prepared for us in record time. You also took time to sing for him and dance with all of us. You people at Royal Grand Swiss are all jewels. We did not get to swim but it was because of us and not you. Thank you so much Cindy! We are now your customers for life. On a side note, we are praying that Hesline and her friends and all their babies are doing well. Happy new year, and best regards to you all at the Royal Grand Swiss. See you next year!…
One of the modern hotels in Ksm.A bit out of town especially with the current car breaking road out of ksm. Pleasant entrance and reception.Quick service.Big spacious rooms though some had windows opening on to internal public areas, most odd indeed. The bar terrace is directly in front of some rooms.Odd.Similarly the terrace above the poolside has no view. That aside, the meals were of a good standard, the service pleasant and attentive and overall it is a nice place to stay. The gym and spa too are more than adequate.
The Grand Royal Swiss located along Kakamega road is a good place to visit because it grants you an opportunity to be close to the town of Kisumu and at the same time avoid the noise of the city centre. The service is great and the staff are really friendly.
The hotel can be easily accessed from Kisumu city. The environment is clean, has free space and also fully furnished recreational facilities such as swimming pool, gym, conference hall, play ground etc. About the price, the hotel is affordable. The attendants are professional, friendly and ready to help anytime. How can i forget about their food? well, the food is well done, they got varieties and they set the tables on time. Their presentation is not only good but the best.
