Terrible Wi-Fi, overpriced food, next to a nightclub which makes sleeping impossible. There are better places to stay in Kisumu for the same price. Friendly advice: Steer clear of this overrated lodging.

After a long day function and previous accomodation disaster at other local hotel, the Joventure Hotel was a welcome stay Only faulted by the loud evening music from Club and equally loud Sunday morning worship from a hutch next door. The mosquitoes remnant /traits left on the the walls and net of the poorly installed net told of the night battle with the persistent critters! Facility along road to Busia All that aside we had great choma for dinner and good reception/ restaurant and room service. Good beds / bedding on new wing and clean room. Good breakfast spread Double @5k was good at that price range

We ordered a fishfillet supreme and goat pepper steak with masala chips. food was fine. masala chips was little bit oily. 피쉬필렛이랑 고트스테이크 시켜서 머것뚭니당. 그렇게 썩 좋은 퀄리티의 디쉬는 아니었지만 그래도 여유롭게 아침공기를 맡았고, 벽에 달린 티비에서 해주는 블록버스터 영화 감상하면서 식사 즐겼니당 :) 키보스 로드 사시는 분들은 추천~~

I must say the Director have done a wonderful job with the hotel, im one of the loyal customers who have stayed in this hotel since its inception. its lovely and cozy with modern furniture. housekeeping is top notch always attention to details with the rooms. lovely breakfast , spacious parking, clean and standard conference rooms. with hospitality growing rapidly in kisumu, they need to pull up their socks with service delivery, and employ professionals. very poor customer service from reception, restaurant and the bar. the staff speak to you in local dialect regardless, no greetings in the restaurant and any help in getting missing items! the staff are always busy conversing their personal issues. not a single day have i ever spotted a manager chatting guests for feedback if they have one that is. in hospitality business, efficient and effective service delivery is quite paramount.....with the cut throat competition and new kids on the block they stand to loose most loyal customers like yours truly! training for the front staff wont hurt. overall always my home…

Quite unusual to find a hotel of this class out of town and worse off the infamous Kondele area of the then 2007 post election violence in Kenya! There is spacious and secure parking to start with, different room provisions with competitive prices. If you happen to have read my reviews here, I'm very particular with breakfast and here I assure you, you get the value of your money. Very clean I bet to keep to standards of the lifestyle of the dominant Luo community but do I say! Try it and thank me later.
