Our rooms were cosy and practical (second bedside lamps required please...).. outdoor bathroom charming with leaves and pods falling on roof and tiles but it was shady and cool under the enormous tree. Bar and restaurant full of people sharing the most outlandish experiences.. great ground for journalists ! Wonderful view of the river and plenty of tables. Cute little...

This is an old favourite with travelers, and understandably so. It’s a lovely, calm place on the river, with simple wooden tables under the shade of trees. The friendly and helpful young staff team rustled me up a chicken dish 20 minutes after the kitchen had closed, and it was a decent dish too.

In short: Lovely food, nice surroundings, helpful and kind staff, great prices. We stayed in pre-fixed tents in Rest Camp (on the other side of the bridge, walking 10 minutes) here we found clean toilets, a bit of moist in furniture but clean and welcoming tents.

I stayed in the Old Bridge for some nights with some friends. At first, we arrived late at night on a rainy night and after closure and they were very solicitous! The camping sites were full but they managed to arrange a spot for our camping cars. The bar... that bar is amazing! The mood, the food, the surroundings... We...

We booked the mokoro trip for 3 days. It was an awful experience, the guide was just lazy, we had to chase him out of the tent several times and he expected us to fully cater him. When we kind of ran into an elephant he panicked. After our complaint at the manager of the lodge, we were eventually refunded...

Pretty cool place with a bar and a restaurant. However, the campsites are pretty small and our was very noisy. The staff is really cool and helpful. They helped us to organize a mokoro trip in the Okavango delta.

For a back packer experience it was awesome.Beds were clean, loved the outdoor shower and the view was to die for.The steak and the ambiance was also good when ordered at the bar.The activities offered at the lodge give you great options to choose from.

We stayed there 4 nights in one of the rented tents. The location was nice but the tents were practically on top of each other. We were told there was a fully equipped kitchen but that was not the case. Thankfully we had our own things. The communal fridge was filthy and so were the cooking facilities. Our own tent...

The river and the little huts under trees are beautiful. We stayed in a small tent for some days. Bathroom attached costs extra but the outdoor bathroom was ok too. The moscito net was good and the beds as well. The food was quite expensive but you can book good trips from here. Best experience was a game drive in...

My husband and I have been here many times since 2008. As we are frequent travellers to Southern Africa we never skip this amazing place when we are in the neighbourhood. It is the perfect starting point for your trip into Moremi, Savute and Chobe (or the other way around when you start your trip in Kasane). We love the...
