WE arrived with friends and family, and received a warm welcome of song and dance, the rooms where super comy, the staff where awesome, it is a great family lodge, and very very well positioned along the Khwai River, the game was great, the stay was great and the food was great, everything just worked well

We arrived after a long drive on a very corrugated road to a lodge filled with 15 children all yelling and running around the main area which was really disappointing. The entire lounge / dining area was overrun and as it was raining there was no other choice but to go to our tent. Once there we could still hear...

Mogotlho was a wonderful place! I had trouble sleeping the first night there listening to all the noises. Lions and elephants fighting, hippos splashing in the water and grunting, something snuffling outside the tent and any number of creatures roaming about. Do not go outside your tent at night - they tell you that for a reason! The wildlife is...

Very friendly staff to welcome us with some coffee/tea and cake. The tents are very nice, clean and close to the main lodge. We found that the food was amazing, fresh and healthy. The lodge has a concession area where you can drive around yourself to spot elephants, giraffes, impalas, crocodiles, buffalos and even lions. Would definitely recommend this lodge!

This is a very well run, small camp with everything you need to experience the natural beauty that surrounds you. The viewing deck overlooks the river and is a perfect spot to relax after your game drive. Both nights we were there, the fire was going and guests could mingle before and after dinner. The food was great, the staff...

As somebody used to visiting Game Lodges in South Africa and neighboring countries - we were very surprised with what we found at Mogotlho Safari Lodge. The road from Maun turned into a wide 72km dirt road which was part of our adventure with sighting various game and bird species along the road - of which the Elephants were just...

The location is in the middle of no where. The setting is not beautiful as some may suggest. It is 50kms of bad roads to the game reserve which ensures it is not possible to get there for an early morning game drive. The rooms were dirty and had large holes in the tents. There are no mosquito nets. The...

After camping for 10 days, we had booked to stay at Mogotlho Lodge for a little bit of luxury before we hit the road again for 2 more days of camping (2 families with 6 children). Wonderfully welcoming staff greeted us. Well appointed 'tented' rooms and the luxury of a private shower!!!! Relaxing drinks on the deck watching the sun...

Mogotlho is a "lodge" situated just outside the Moremi Game Reserve on the Khwai river, very well positioned. It was an expensive booking, which created expectations of a classy experience. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food was a really poor quality and often served cold. Staff were sloppily attired and poorly trained. They insist on charging corkage on byo...
