What a stunning experience. This is the 4th time that we have been back to the Botswana bush with John and his crew. The combination of arid desert and Okavango flood plains offers everything from birds to hundreds of elephants to lion and leopard and wild dog and rare antelope with the finest guides in Africa. The food is great... More

This was my first African safari, however the group I was with had stayed with John Chase Safari's numerous times before. They told me it was fantastic, but I wasn't expecting the level of service, attention to detail, hospitality and friendliness throughout the experience. Novice or anti-campers, get rid of any visions of digging your own toilet or picking the... More

I just returned from my second trip with John Chase Safaris. My first trip was in 2008 and I had such an amazing time that I took my entire family back this summer. Spending time with John and Tina (the owner, operators, hosts extraordinnaire) “in the bush” (i.e. on safari) was the experience of a lifetime. From the game viewing... More

Our recent safari with John and Tina was the third safari (Kenya and Tanzania previously) for my wife and I and we loved it all (well, my wife was not fond of the bush toilet, but it's a small price to pay to be in the bush). I'm not sure how they arranged it <grin> but when we arrived at... More

Thank you so much for all your hospitality during the recent group trip to Botswana. The safaris, food, hospitality, animal sightings, and Victoria Falls section of the trip (complete with Tina's fantastic market skills and the perfect last night at The Boma), were experiences that I will never forget. I hope to see you again in the not-so-distant future. And... More

Nothing is too much trouble for John Chase, his wife Tina and their friendly and efficient staff. Six of us traveled to Kasane in Botswana to spend four nights in the Chobe game reserve in a tented camp in the bush. We were met by John and transported to the camp by game viewing vehicle. Although this is bush camping,... More
