It was my first trip to a Ranch . . . a Dude Ranch (not the same as a working Ranch) and Man was I blown by this place. This is 700 acres of green and water. 50 Horses and just a handful of Wranglers (as opposed to Cowboys). The Log cabins are beautiful, tastefully done and suited to all...

Visited the ranch with my two pre-teen sons in March. This is our third ranch vacation and by far the best. The horses and goats roam the property in the evening, as do the kids when they are not engaged in activities in the barn gym or basement game room / movie room. The horseback riding was really fun -...

My husband and I recently completed one full day of climbing at the ranch with Jason, one of the professional rock climbing guides. We had an awesome day and climbed some exciting routes. I definitely recommend Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for a fun family or couples getaway!

My husband and I have been visiting Horseshoe for almost a decade now. It has some of the best climbing in the area, for both the novice and advanced climber. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Such a fun place to camp, and the cabins are great. If you're looking for a fun outdoor adventure for friends or family,...

I visited Horseshoe Canyon Ranch as part of a press trip this past week. Being a "city girl" I was a bit overwhelmed with how "at one" with nature I would become during my time, but it ended up being incredible! I can't say enough good about Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. The food is amazing - all of it, all the...

Our family had a great time at the ranch. The Johnson family and all their employees were very friendly and accommodating. They even split up at meal time and sit with the guests to get to know them better. Our family had a blast experiencing rock climbing, horseback riding, .22 shooting, zip lining, hanging out in the barn and just...

Our first visit to HCR in 2013 was so good that we came back again in 2014, this time in the fall. Same as before: cozy cabins, great food, wonderful people, and the best activities anywhere. For us, the rock climbing is the major attraction, and HCR is definitely a premier destination. If you're looking for moderate, well bolted sport...
