A group of volunteers stayed here over the weekend to work at the Gurdon animal shelter. I was impressed with how clean the rooms were. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. The staff went above and beyond and very friendly. This beats any of the chains hands down, We also ate across the road and had an old fashioned...

We were visiting the city to look for the Gurdon Light, and this motel was conveniently on the Interstate, and also only 3 miles from the entrance to the viewing point for the Gurdon Light. The room was clean, we had a 'fridge and microwave, and was to perfect place to crash after an evening of looking for the Gurdon...

PROS: Updating of rooms was clearly happening (new drapes, bedsheets - not yet on comforters); Clean! the chairs were steamcleaned during our lengthy stay and there was a pest...

The room was dirty, floor was slick as if greasy. No remote for the TV..... they said they "lost one and it must have been that room". Please.... don't stop here... sleeping on the ground would be better!

I stayed a week while preparing my mother's house for sale. Non smoking room was clean and cool. Desk folks were like kin! WiFI and Ice maker a little slow. 100+ temp didn't help. restaurant across the street with good food. No complaints at all.

rate, resulted in my making a reservation at the Gurdon, AR America's Best Value Inn. I drove up after 8 hours on the road with my children to find a couple of men working on a truck engine outside the front lobby, and soon discovered that one of them was the desk clerk. I had my printed reservation with rate...
