Whenever I smell jasmine, I'll think of this hotel. Gorgeous vines of jasmine are in the courtyard of this beautifully restored home, with thoughtfully prepared rooms, and great beds. Breakfast by the pool was relaxing and simple, which is on pace with this pretty, little resort village by the water. Ask for a room with a view of the water,... More

The hotel itself was lovely but we stayed on a Friday night and a disco nearby played music till 4 AM. There clearly is no noise ordinance and we were so close that it felt like we were in the disco, not sleeping across the street. Also we left early in the morning and realized quickly that the attendant on... More

Hotel Dar Said is a converted rich merchant's residence dating from the mid 1800s in the heart of Sidi Bou Said. It has retained all the charm from the oriental architectural elements of the era, with interconnecting internal courtyards and patios with fountains, overall it's one of the nicest boutique hotels one can book in Tunis. There's a nice garden... More

Perfect little Riad in the beautiful town of Sidi Bousaid. Loved the breakfast in the garden, by the little pool, outside on a sunny morning! Very friendly staff. Authentic decoration with an air of the good old days.

A good location to spend time in and around Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. Nice and close to some great restaurants and the markets as well as the harbour. Our stay in Hotel Dar Said was very enjoyable with the room bright and airy, comfortable pillows and mattress and with a reasonable, filling breakfast.

This was a memorable small hotel in a former bourgeois merchant home full of atmosphere & character. Within the building is a series of linked courtyards with gurgling fountains and trellised bougainvillea. I loved it, the blue doors & window grills characteristic of Sidi-Bou-Said. The hotel is set in the heart of the town, with views of the gulf of... More

I requested the same room as last time- room 8 and this is what we were given and it was just perfect and welcoming with the lights already switched on. The staff were on hand if there was anything you needed, night or day. Rooms were blissfully clean and perfectly presented every day. I would certainly come back again. Postiion... More

We have never been to a hotel in which we were treated better than during our recent stay at the Dar Said, Sidi Bou Said. The staff were very professional, helpful and attentive and they made our stay very memorable. Each day we returned from a trip to find fresh petals on our beds and in the bathroom which my... More

Lovely place & friendly staff. Everyone else reviews are pretty accurate so the only thing I want to mention is that it isn't really a hotel in the sense that you could spend the whole day in buildings and it gardens because there isn't any food or beverage other than the provided breakfast. No room service for a light lunch... More
