As usual we had a great stay at Elephant Sands on 6 Jan 2017. The new tent chalets are a big improvement on the older one's - particularly in terms of decor etc. We stayed in Chalet No. 11. However, the dinner on 6 Jan was a disappointment as the food was not great and we believe it is a...

There is no place like Elephant Sands! We spent a month overlanding across Southern Africa with a group tour company and this was by far the highlight of the trip. Nice, clean pool and bar area right next to the waterhole where we saw far more than 10 elephants. Slightly terrifying but unique and worthwhile experience hearing the elephants getting...

We were booked in for two nights and had high hopes of the main event. Check in had a snafu and there was difficulty finding our booking 'on the system'. Our chalets were fine and comfortable when assigned a contained a very large and comfortable bed with nets. Quite Tardis like it was roomier inside than the outside view would...

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful camping environment. We experienced wonderful encounters with the elephants, up close and personal. We were privileged to see a leopard in the pan next to our water hole. Fantastic experience

Every bit as true as everything ever said about this place. I booked for supper and breakfast and it was delicious. Well worth the trip and money spend. Accommodation was perfect. Pool was cool! Staff friendly.

Spent 1 night on the way to Zimbabwe, I was disappointed with the drive up to the 'lodge' which is very messy. The various types of accommodation are all situated around the waterhole but are so close to one another which is uncomfortable. We stayed in a fixed tent on a wooden deck which was very comfortable and clean. The...

Elephant Sands is a beautiful place with an amazing bar, dinig and pool area. The rooms are beautiful but for the price it is a rip-off. The rooms are spacious and neat, but compared to 9 other places we visited in 3 weeks, definately the most expensive for what you get. There is not even a kettle or a glass...

What a wonderful 3 nights we spent at Elephant Sands; from the moment we arrived till the moment we left we were treated like family, the camp sites were fantastic great experience to be so close to the elephants and have them walk right past you and your tent on the way to the waterhole. The food was exceptional, the...

Very nice place to set up. We were camping and the sites were very nice. The setup is amazing. Abolutions were nice with lots of hot water, really loved the open air one. But what was really impressive was the helpful attitude the staff had. We had some vehicle problems and they didn't hesitate to assist us. Let us use...

Elephant Sands Lodge is an exceptional experience. From the Elephants, Accommodation, Area to the People makes this Lodge one of the best places to stay. When you are on way to Kasane, you have to visit Elephant Sands Lodge to see and enjoy the wildlife but most of all, the Elephants that will always be there!!
