This hotel was in an ideal location, centrally located with several nice restaurants and shops close by. The hotel itself was of a very high standard and the reception staff were attentive and professional. Unfortunately the same can not be said about the waiting staff in the restaurant. Slow to react most of the time, the breakfast crew were clearly...

I spent two weeks in the Caracas Palace Hotel while on a three month business trip to Venezuela. The hotel was fantastic; from the comfort of the room to the overall property facilities. I felt safe as can be and enjoyed their fine location as well as the ever helpful staff. An exquisite experience. I was there at the end...

The Caracas Palace is probably the city's best hotel, though North Americans may be tempted by the familiar names of Hilton, Marriott, Renaissance. I have spent years working in Caracas, and compare this hotel to the Marriott, the Lidotel, and the Gran Melia. The Caracas Palace has the best service, facilities and location. As visitors of Venezuela know, in general...

I stayed at this hotel during the night of the Old Year to the New Year and the room was just beautiful and clean! The New Year's dinner was just fabulous! Breakfast was very healthy and the staff very professional and always nice to the guests. The hotel is next to the elegant Plaza Altamira and the view over Caracas...

Although this is not the best hotel in Caracas, nor the best bang for your money, it's location and good food make this hotel a great option if you want to move around by yourself and get to know Altamira / La Castellana, Las Mercedes and other interesting areas that are nearby.

Caracas is not the most safe city right now, so a hotel like this is great, since you can do your dinner or just have a couple of drinks, the bar is very nice and nice choice of drinks, high class bar. It is a bit expensive, but great service, rooms are heaven, confortable beds, no need to go out...

I stayed here the last few nights and it is an elegant hotel with a quiet -- hard to come by anyplace in Caracas -- and soothing ambiance. However, what I really enjoyed was the right-sized (and quality) customer service. If you're like me, and not that I'm anti-social, but you can do without the employees jumping into your path...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently. I think it used to be an old Four Seasons. The lobby and rooms are in good condition (I was on the 15th floor). All the heads of the various areas (front desk, valet, dining) spoke english but many of the staff did not. The restaurant food was good although the...

I stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago, and I had items stolen from my car during the Valet Parking. The Hotel never recognized this as they could not see the "crime" on their surveillance tapes - of course they would not see it as the valet driver stole while in the car. I have stayed at the hotel...

If this hotel costed like $90 it would be fair, but it cost $300. It is way, way overpriced like everything in Venezuela.because of the exchange rate they use for turists. For a $90 hotel it is nice, the rooms are good and very clean. The staff is very mixed, some are very good and some are very little serviceminded....

“Cjheck your hot water when you arrive. Let it run for at least 10-15 minutes if you don't have hot water. We had several instances of no hot water as the hotel appeared to be having trouble with its boiler. Unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, but this is Caracas!”
