I read a review from a tourist from the Netherlands who described the hotel as utter rubbish and probably fitting for the standards of a Venezuelan which I found discriminatory and a tad bit racist. The hotel is situated far out of the city of Merida. The rooms are rubbish! The beds ar made of solid concrete! (see photo's). The food in the restaurant is simple but ok. The only thing that is nice is the view from the restaurant. Maybe to Venuzuelan local standards this hotel is ok but it is not the place...

“You don't need a/c at this hotel as the nights are bitterly cold but there are warmers beneath the floor boards near to the bed so you don't have to worry about freezing to death. This is not a place to stay indoors for the entire day. Go out and have fun.”
