my fiancée and I stayed here two nights in a private double room. The hotel is owned by a very sweet couple who offer a lot of information about the hiking trails in the area. Rooms are clean, and decorated nicely. The view from our room was also very pleasant. They make their own bread and pastries which they serve...

We stayed 3 nights here as part of the El Chalten experience. Our room had a fantastic view of the mountains outside, I think most of the rooms here will have due to its location in the village. Room was very clean, and cleaned daily. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. We got good advice on which routes to...

Very cosy room with good furniture and quality bedding and great bathroom. Everything that you need for a stay in a town where you come for tracking to glaciers and mountains. Very friendly and understanding personnel. European touch can be felt.

We stayed several days with my husband. All I can say is that everything was perfect. There was a good climate and we were able to make several excursions. The room price is not economic, but compared to others it is more than reasonable. In particular I want to highlight the good treatment of the owners of the place. They...

Warm welcome and helpful advice from English-speaking young residentmanagers. Comfortable rooms and adequate breakfast. Quiet location and good for walks to mountains, but at opposite end of town to bus station. Some noise from young children. WiFi is slow.

Quite new, very lovely hostel in El Chalten in a great location relative to the hiking with nice restaurants close by. It is a bit of a walk from the bus station. We would have waited for a taxi if we had realized it because it was sprinkling, and we also had a roller bag that was a bit difficult...

It was quiet, that's the only good thing I can say about it. We hated every minute of our stay here. The room is extremely basic, with no tables, stands or shelving to store anything. I'm not even sure there was a chair. There's no TV or clock, and the lobby consists of a small couch and a couple of...

Dear customer. First let us tell you that your opinion is very important for us and we are deeply sorry that you had such bad impression from your stay in our Hotel. Tranqueras it´s little lodge, located in the middle of the mountains, 220 km far from the closest city (CALAFATE). There are no sell phones, no optic fiber and...

I stayed with friends for four nights around the end of January. It's warm and comfortable, obviously brand new and very clean. To be honest, I would have appreciated more choice for breakfast (then again, what was served was quite tasty! and most places within this price range in Argentina offer a similar menu), but overall my impression was very...

We stayed in Hostería Tranqueras in El Chalten for 3 nights around New Years 2013-2014. El Chalten is trekking only, and this hostería was the perfect place to rest: Big, light rooms, big and very comfortable beds, a nice bathroom with tub, hot water and soft towels. Add to that a nice breakfast with one of the best coffees I've...

I stayed here for a few days and had a good stay. The hotel is new and therefore very clean and taken care of. My room had a good view of the mountains and the heater worked quite well so I was always comfortable. The decor is quite basic, but I doubt that is what most people are interested in...
