Very good hotel with great hospitality. The room is big, beautifull wooden floor. Very warm. Good bathroom. Best breakfast of the holiday untill now. The staff is very helpfull. We went for a trekking of two nights. They stored our luggage and when we came back we could freshen up in the spa. Thanks a lot for that.

I stayed at this hotel with a group back in April. I found both the front desk attendants and the restaurant staff to be friendly and attentive. The dinners we had there were solidly good. My room was decorated nicely and the bed was comfortable. Wifi in the room was practically non-existent but was available in the lobby. There was...

First a few words to the town El Chalten: As the picture says: "El Chalten" and the "Worlds End" are synonymous. Therefore the review must take account of this. Remember the saying "The one-eyed is the king amongst the blinds". The hotel (see pictures): - The Destino Sur is the best looking building in town. - The receptionist was effective,...

I give them a 5 for their friendly front desk & hospitable staff. 5 for cleanliness & comfort. 5 stars for the fresh bread at breakfast. I also give them a 5 for the food. It really exceeded my expectations. There is a lot of effort that is put into the presentation. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection...

We had 5 nights at Destino Sur during the shoulder season. While the town was very quiet, Destino Sur still seemed to have a nice number of people staying there (which is good, some or the other places seemed very empty - and much of the town had closed their doors for the season). The hotel is not in the...

A group of us stayed here at the start and end of a 3 day trek through the National Park. The hotel is modern with great conveniences. Free WiFi worked well. The rooms were very comfortable. Great pillows. Spacious. Bathroom was excellent. Warm and welcoming. After 3 days camping it was great to have a restful night in the comfortable...

I stayed here for 4 nights and was very happy with my choice of hotels. It was in a great location near many of the trails heading out of town. The staff was amazing - very helpful and spoke excellent English (way better than my Spanish). I even exchanged money here at a very good rate. The breakfast was really...

It was great to find a luxury hotel at the end of the world. We loved our spacious room with great mountain views, great breakfasts (their fried eggs were to die for!), superb spa and sauna, very fiendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located at the nothern end of the town, so the best restaurants are a 5-10 minute...

The four of us spent 2 nights at Hotel Destrino Sur and found it to be clean, comfortable and with friendly staff. It was an easy walk to restaurants and close to the hiking trails. The breakfast was very good with an offer of a fried or scrambled egg with bacon in addition to the fruits, cereals, yogurts, breads, etc....

We enjoyed our 3-night stay, but wish the hotel wasn't at the far end of the town: the better restaurants are generally at the other end of town. Yes, it is not a very long walk to the other end of town, but after a day of hiking 20km you do wish your walk to dinner and back is shorter,...
