After spending a few glorious days at this place, nothing compares. The level of casual luxury, the warmth, the food and the way our kids could run around without disturbing the adults was truly amazing.

We spent four nights with our teenagers in a family room so we could ski at Le Massif. I was most impressed with the spaciousness of the room and we all appreciated that we could bring our dog as well (for a small daily fee). The staff went above and beyond with their service and enthusiasm, and we enjoyed the...

We booked 2 nights in the building "Basse-Cour" with a fantastic view on the field, bay and mountains. The family room was very clean, extremely sound proof and the mattresses were perfect. The room is a little small, especially the bathroom. The staff is very friendly, even during the spring break where l suppose it can be overwhelming. The breakfast...

My dear wife and I went to Quebec to ski at Massif. We decided to stay at the Hotel Le Germain. What a wonderful experience. At the front desk Nadine was most accommodating. The concierge was helpful. The restaurants were very good. If you are going skiing at Massif this is the place to stay!

This is a really cool hotel, with several buildings making up the property. The front desk staff is EXCELLENT. When I checked in, the woman answered my (many) questions with the utmost of patience and helpfulness. It could not have been better. This was my experience every time I interacted with the staff at the front desk - they were...

My boyfriend and I went there for a ski-weekend. Overall, the hotel is great, well decorated, nice staff, very clean and fully equipped. But, some rooms are in different buildings, so we had to walk outside to access to our room after the check out (main lobby). Also, our room was like a loft, so the bath/shower is in the...

We visited to be able to see the fall/autumn colours in the area. The timing was absolutely spot-on, but this hotel made the visit even more special. The room was wonderful - most important in any hotel is the comfort of the bed. No problem there at all. We ate at the restaurant on the ground floor where service was...

Spent 4 nights in a loft during a 4 day ski vacation in the region. Lovely setup. Clean cut, practical, friendly, clean, modern, functional, generous. Excellent house keeping. Very very quiet. Lovely view on the St Lawrence river during the day. Nice balcony. Extremely comfy bathtub and awesome shower. Free nespresso coffee, small fridge to store your food - snacks....

In 2012 (this drop-down menu won't allow an accurate date), after a wonderful night at the Hotel Le Germain in Old Quebec, we took the private train to what was then known at Ferme Station in Baie St-Paul. The whole experience was amazing and unique. The train took us from just outside Quebec City at the Montmorency Falls to what...

Dear Hilary, It is never too late... thank you. I must say that I was managing Le Germain Quebec then, and Le Germain Charlevoix now. I confirm it is a wonderful combination. We certainly hope to see you again, visiting both hotels. Happy New Year! Sylvie

My husband, my 17 year old son and I decided to go on a ski trip and spend New Year's Eve in Baie St.Paul. We stayed at L'Hotel Le Germain. This hotel is very well rated and we figured the rates would be well worth it. Upon arrival at 15:00, we were advised our room wasn't ready which we were...
