We had the pleasure of staying in the Clockmaker's Inn during a visit to Halifax and area. It was a wonderful experience! The owners were away, but the inn keepers treated us, and the inn, as though it were their own. They were engaging, friendly and really attentive! The Inn itself is gorgeous! The building is really well maintained and...

An amazing old house, lovingly restored, but with modern-day comforts. For example, a state of the art heating control drives a wonderful old water-filled radiator. We were sarmly welcomed by Hannah and shown to the Curry room, where we were very comfortable. An excellent breakfast sent us off well refreshed.

Beautiful Victorian era house with all the original embellishments make this house a intriguing place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast super yummy. The beds were comfortable and the private bathrooms make it extra convenient. Each of the rooms that were unbooked were available to explore which made our stay extra adventurous. There were...

What a treat, I have always wanted to stay somewhere with an old fashioned porch and rocking chairs and here it is. Stunning building with many original features and furnishings from1894. Yet the bedrooms have been appropriately modernised with modern plumbing and all the facilities you may wish for. We stayed in the King suite which was huge but very...

We were greeted warmly by Hannah, who was very informative as to the history of the Inn and town. We stayed one night in the Cunard Room, a clean, quiet room located on the second floor facing the side yard. There was a queen bed, desk, en suite with a beautiful claw foot tub/shower, window AC, cable TV, and a...

The room was one of the smaller ones, but still VERY comfortable with a great bed and sheets! The attention to detail cannot be described in this house...you have to see it to believe it! the...

Nice rooms. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfasts were always well prepared and sizes were plentiful. The inn is a beautiful old building and they have filled it with items suitable for a museum.

We stayed here for two nights and it was a great visit. The charming inn is a lovely place to stay, convenient to visit vineyards, breweries and great restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were filling and tasty. We stayed in the Windsor Room, which features a beautiful frieze which was hand painted nearly a century ago....

This is the third time we have stayed here. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the staff is outstanding. Each room is different. The B&B is a stately old mansion with lots of history in immaculate condition. The breakfast is amazing. Orders are put in the night before from a menu with a good variety of choices. We...

It is a beautiful old house and the inn definitely has character. We felt like we were living in an old movie. We stayed in the Sam Slick room, where the bathroom was located at the end of the hall. But it was a private bathroom that only we had access to, which was great. They provide complementary tea and...
