Detailed Reviews
This hotel is certainly one of the best hostels in Shiraz. In addition to a good location and good rooms, the staff has the greatest value. All super helpful, try to help in everything, even if it is not related to the hotel, speak English, especially Nima and Hamid, and best of all, make you feel at home.
I highly recommend this hostel.

I had the best stay in Taha hostel Shiraz. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, the room was very clean and comfortable. Ostvar is a very warm person, he offered me amazing tea everytime. The garden and the decoration of the hostel are absolutely stunning. Don't think twice, stay in Taha hostel if you come to Shiraz.

Fantastic stay with the most generous, helpful and caring host Hussein and his family. Nothing was a problem for him. The house is magnificent - over 100 years old belonging to his grandparents. Our room was on the first floor and super quaint with low ceilings and Persian decorations. Clean bathroom. Super great location walking distance of the bazaar and main sights. Also parking space if you come by car. We were recommended and we are 110% happy we took it!!

This hostel was advised to us by one Iranian friend and it was really a great place to stay. The stuff is very attentive and helped us in many questions. The room is spacious and comfortable, other facilities are also good. The decoration of the room is just like in a museum.

+1
Unexpectedly great people! Hamid, Nima, Mohamed and the rest of the team...hostel itself is historic about 200 years of age. Area is remarkably walkable in other tourist destination. Safe for solo traveler, I arrive at the hostel with zero plan but Nima helped me out for my itinerary after my stay and tour in Isfahan and Yazd I came back to Taha with full satisfaction!

Stayed here for 2 nights, emailed them to enquire, was quoted 3 million Rials (about 20+ Euros at the time I went) per night for a private ensuite room, I decided to reserve an ensuite double room on Hostelworld for 17 Euros a night instead.
I came from Yazd on a night bus so arrived Shiraz 6ish in the morning, got to Taha before 7am, a staff gave me a blanket and asked me to rest in the common area first. I decided to head out and got back around 11am, the owner/manager gave me a triple room on the ground floor. Whilst waiting for the cleaning lady to come, I asked whether it's ok if I napped whilst the cleaning lady cleans the room as one of the beds was untouched by previous guests, I guess the owner thought I was pushing him to get the cleaning done first (which I wasn't) and retorted that check-in is actually in the afternoon, I explained that I understand he made an exception in giving me the room earlier which I really appreciate, I just wanted to see whether it's possible as I was exhausted, at the end I decided to just wait in the courtyard until the cleaning lady finished. But otherwise, he was helpful and showed me a map and where all the top sights in Shiraz are. They have group tours to Persepolis I believe each morning, I wanted to have a private tour around sunset time and he arranged a guide for 25 Euros.
Location is pretty good, 10 mins walk to Shahecheragh Holy Shrine, 20 mins walk to Nasirolmolk Mosque. The room is decent size but unfortunately quite run down, the oldest / least well maintained place out of 9 accommodations I stayed in in Iran, it also got a slightly dugeon feel. The toilet / shower is small and bedding pretty uncomfortable. The up being a TV in the room which most places do not have.
There are lots of plants in the central yard which is nice but the common area is small and crammed. Also had problem with the wifi, it was spotty, I needed to send an email with attachment and could not add attachments 2 nights in a row, ended up having to use data from my local data sim in order to get it done. Breakfast is nice.
Check-out was slow and had to wait for over 20 mins. I guess the manager was overwhelmed with booking air tickets (fair enough) for these 2 guests but then they started enquiring about day trips for the day after (so not really urgent), I guess helps to be flexible as checking out really takes only a min or 2.
Overall, it was an ok stay, services half great half not quite so, can't say room particularly comfortable or nice.

unfortunatly you mentioned that in hostelworld is 17 euro room but you have a mistake and perhaps intent mistake which this price is for second building rooms and you stayed in main and first building and price for your room by three person in website is about 40 euro by discount and for one person is about 20-25 euro. you came in 6 am and get free breakfast when you were not our guest and this is not considered for you.

Definitely the best place I stayed at while travelling Iran. Its a small traditional house with a great, social courtyard. Stay in a double room (only charged for a single) but once I caught a looked at the dorms I wish I had of stayed there. Has to be the best looked dorm room ever! The host are super friendly and organised accommodation and transport for my next destination perfectly. So so happy I stayed there!
