First time visitors to The Dragon and booked afternoon tea in advance. A warm welcome and cosy informal surroundings. Afternoon tea was delicious and good choice of sandwiches available. All cakes home made and scones were still warm. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and priced at only £24.00 for two people which included tea or coffee it...

We didn't stop at the Dragon Inn, as we had rented a beautiful cottage locally, but after walking around Crickhowell we decided to book a meal for that evening. On booking the girl behind the bar had said she would reserve us a nice table for that evening. On our return later we were not disappointed we had a lovely...

We have had Sunday diner here a couple of times recently. While the service has been a little bit slow due to the number of people in, we have always found that it is service with a smile. The food is very tasty and fresh. There is always a nice atmosphere in the dining room. The beer garden is very...

We have previously stayed at the Bear, but on enquiringly found it very expensive (£129 per night to include our little dog) The Dragon charged £99. We were delighted with our room and enjoyed some of the best food we have had anywhere in recent holidays. We will definitely be returning, and would strongly recommend this hotel as a base...

What a treat to arrive here! Beautiful, warm spacious room... enormous bed and proper single beds for the children. Everything was spotless and luxurious. Great meal in the evening, smashing food and we had a lovely time. Breakfast the next morning was super; we all tried something different and my husband really loved his Welsh breakfast. We will return again...

The Bear is the famous one in Crickhowell, but The Dragon gives it a real run for its money. We stayed at The Dragon for a night in September and rate it 10/10: friendly staff, good food, excellent service, comfortable room, dog-friendly and, best of all REAL MARMALADE and Llaeth y Llan yogurt at breakfast! Fabulous.

We arrived late at this place, with no booking, and again received a great deal on a superior room. The room was beautiful and modernly decorated. It was at the front of the hotel. Excellent coffee, biscuits, chocolate, and hot chocolate in the room. We went for a pre-dinner drink elsewhere in Crickhowell but had dinner in the Dragon Inn....

I stayed 2 nights in one of "The Dragon inns" Superior Single Rooms (room #19) located on the ground floor in the annex at the rear of the Inn. The room was quite spacious (for a single room) and had a nice en suite shower room / WC and a small wardrobe, work desk, LCDTV, alarm clock and tea &...
