I went to the Cliff hotel and spa for a spa day, with my daughters and daughter in law. Having never had a spa day before I didn't really know what to expect, but I have to say I was impressed. We had lunch first, two of us had the carvery and the others had either the linguine or the...

Rooms are basic however this is more than made up by the views, food for evening meal (try the three course for £25) and the wonderful tasty breakfast. Staff are polite and attentive. It's also a joy to hear my language spoke by so many people. A huge A+++ for this place.

We stayed here on bank holiday Monday. Never been to this hotel before but so glad we came. The view from room 11 is spectacular! We sat on the patio all afternoon admiring the view and sipping wine. We topped it off with a nice meal in the restaurant... I had soup then fish. Nice food, lovely welcoming staff and...

Stay here mainly for the spa. Great views from room and restaurant. Didn't enjoy the food in the evening don't think there was much wrong with it just my taste. Would be nice to have more choices other than hand cooked chips. After retiring to my room 9.45 I was quickly contacted by reception with a request from my neighbour...

Absolutely worth the drive! Elegant, simple decor; wonderful food; professional, friendly staff and a breathtaking, uninterrupted view of the sea, sky and sunset. Beautiful! I will definitely return with the family and stay for longer! To get the most of your stay, bring your walking boots and venture down to the pebble beach or a two minute drive to the...

Had a perfect stay at this hotel with friends of ours. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The food was excellent and the drinks were of good value. The improvements to the hotel had been done to an excellent standard and improved on our stay.

The hotel is in an amazing location on the headland and we were lucky to have a room with sea view. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bathroom was slightly tired as we had one that was waiting refurbishment, however this was reflected in the price and was still excellent value for money. Lovely spa area and delicious...
