Urgent upgrade needed. Serious lack of tlc. I booked for 2 nights, i was there to see a bit more of scotland. The village and the people are great just a shame about the hotel. Its clean thats about it for the good points. £80 a night is a bit much to ask

Myself and my husband booked to stay here for 2 nights at the end of April. We arrived at reception to check in and the lovely gentleman working said there was no record of our booking. I had booked through Booking.com so had all the confirmation etc I needed. Fortunately there were 3 rooms left so we were swiftly accommodated....

Room average, could do with upgrading. Had a problem with the toilet and were moved to a better room.was a bit of a flood at fire exit which took a while to be dealt with and was very smelly. Food was average but were only allowed 1 slice of meat at dinner time. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cheap place to...

We stopped over night in Ullapool and thought an inexpensive location would be OK. The hotel is very dated and noisy. The staff is 50/50 on helpfulness. Upon arriving, we were greated coldly, however hunting down another staff member proved to be worth while as he was amazing. The breakfast is buffet style, nothing fantastic, but they kept the food...

Words cannot describe our experience. Free parking if you are exceptionally lucky , a French man on reception who seemed overwhelmed with 3 people queuing. The place is very old and needs urgent upgrading. The room was only just bearable the place creaked with every step taken, I could hear the people above as if they were in my room....

The place is in desperate need of tlc. The staff were friendly and professional, but the whole appearance of the outside did not give a very good first impression. The main doors were in dire meed of some varnish, showing they were very well used and having chunks taken out of them. The carpet between the reception and the bar...

Brilliant location with fabulous views out over the harbour. Perfect for a stopover. Excellent food places in strolling distance. Hotel is more quirky than bespoke but no complaints. Found we had to stand next to reception for any chance of wifi! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Off road parking a bonus.

This is an Old style hotel, the rooms were very outdated, and they served a very poor breakfast. The Service was not great. We did not eat dinner here, so can't comment on that. There is not much choice in Ullapool for hotels so I guess not much incentive to modernize this hotel.

When we entered the hotel I wanted to turn around and walk out. But there was no other accommodation to be had. The hotel is very run down very shabby. The room was tiny, with no toiletries or hair dryer The bed was clean thank goodness. The best part was the buffet breakfast. What a surprise. It looked badly presented...

April snow storm during our stay. Our second floor bedroom was adequate and warm though en suite was too cold to think of showering! Two coach trips were in and restaurant was very busy, mostly foreign staff were friendly though struggling. The buffet dinner, no a la carte, was on the poor side of OK - would go to the...
