We arrived at West House to a warm welcome, lovely homemade cake and a cup of tea. We had a good size room with en suite. We stayed two night, here in central Ullapool. Colleen gave us advice on places to visit and restaurants, even ringing to book a table for us. The breakfasts were great....lots to choose from, all...

This is really a great place to stay. Richard and Colleen gave us a warm welcome and made our stay very enjoyable. They also helped us with good ideas to plan our stay and the rest of our trip. The rooms are great, spacious, clean and nicely decorated, even with plugs for non-UK guests, iphone dock etc... And the breakfast...

A warm welcome from the hostess with lovely fresh baked muffins and a pot of tea....welcome on that cold, windy day. Very modern, comfy bedrooms with sky tv, ipod dock and everything we could wish for breakfast wise. What a gem

This was our first experience in a B&B and what really convinced me to book was the breakfast in bedroom. It overcame my expectations. Me and my husband only stayed for one night and Collen gave us a warm welcome after a day of road trip. The room has everything, even universal plugs for non-uk guests, like us. The dinner...

You will not find anywhere better than this. The quality of the furnishings, fixtures, fittings is excellent. The welcome does not come any warmer and you could readily believe you were in a high quality hotel room not a b&b. The self service breakfast with lots of home made goodies that you enjoy in your room with a great view...

My husband and I arrived late after driving from Edinburgh through snow and sleet. The welcome we received from Colleen was more than we could have asked for. The room was warm and cosy with everything we could possibly have asked for. Breakfast in the fridge, more than we could eat. Fresh home baked bread, marmalade and banana cake. We...

Visited this hotel a while ago and can't believe I forgot to leave a review. This place is absolutely fantastic. The couple who run it are amazingly friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I loved being able to have breakfast waiting in the fridge and not having to get up at a set time. This was especially helpful after...

Ullapool is a great place to stay while you explore the North West Highlands. It has pubs, music events and restaurants and lots of bed and breakfast and hotel accommodation.

Fantastic scenery and sense of isolation in the last wilderness in Britain.

Most bed and breakfast providers have a minimum booking policy of two nights.

Hope you enjoy your visit.
