Had a fantastic wknd. Stayed in caravan with our dog. Caravan was really lovely and clean too. We had gr8 weather for October and went for walks round Castle Douglas and red kite areas. We even took a bottle of wine and a book out to water front and read. Highly recommend, we have stayed with tent too, gr8 place...

Went down for a weekend Guy Fawkes time Lovely site. Not too big. They had a fireworks display of which locals far and wide attended. Well situated beside Loch Ken which meanders over a large area With been open all year will definitely be visiting again off season

Came for a 2 night stay, wished it could've been longer, the park is well kept, good size area to walk your dog, the scenery is beautiful at the moment so I'm sure it's even better in the summer months, not taken advantage of the facilities as I use the shower in my caravan in the winter, will definitely be...

We stayed for just one night on our campervan travels around this part of Scotland. There aren't many campsites open at this time of year (November) and this place was very quiet, but all the more beautiful for it. The location is very beautiful, and for us, eerily tranquil. We were a family of 4, with no electric hook-up, and...

The staff on site are friendly and could not be more helpful. A total relaxing place to visit. The £5 fee for 24 hour fishing permit was great value. Our two dogs loved the nearby walks....

We stayed 3 touring caravans of friends and family for a weekend in the September weekend. Such a lovely relaxing stay. The staff were friendly. Grounds kept immaculate including toilets and showers with loads of space and hairdryers. The loch is stunning and we took our own kayaks. Our kids had a ball playing on the ropeswing and had loads...

Ok you absolutely have to spend a night here, the SQM (Sky Quality Meter) is so low that you can sit out and view the entire Milky Way of a night. It was so special and extraordinary to see the night sky so brilliantly. The park has a very friendly feel and even though we were late arrivals, the owner...

Beats driving for miles then finding car park then maybe 2 Hrs waiting at airport, flying for hours then getting to your destination, to do the same...
