Ordered medium steaks, they arrived almost raw! One had to go back to be re-cooked. By the time it came back the rest of the table had eaten their meal. The pepper sauce was more of a lemon affair for some strange reason. The blood from the steaks covered the mash potato making the plates very unappetizing. Wouldn't eat there...

I enjoyed staying in this smallish, but super. hotel as part of a four day holiday bus tour around southwest Scotland. The room was just right for one person, clean, neat with a great en-suite. I had a really thick, hot, vegetable soup in the bar before a good night's sleep in the cosy bed. Breakfast next morning was a...

Very quaint little pub with very nice clean comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we...

Had to take the boat the next day to Ireland from Cairnryan and spend one night in this hotel, small but nice room with a very good bed. We had room 2 at the back of the hotel, had a very quiet night. Very friendly staff and good food. Nice atmosphere!

The food (breakfast and dinner) was tasty and they were very flexible with options to meet our appetite and selection. This location was very helpful as we were driving to different visitor centres around Galloway forest part and was a...

Just back from an overnight visit with my partner and 2 friends, would highly recommend. Beautiful rooms with large comfortable bed, delicious food served in the onsite restaurant, dinner was lovely and I was gutted that I was slightly too delicate to fully enjoy my breakfast!! Friendly and helpful staff, thanks everyone xx

Came from Bentham, North Yorkshire, to visit family. The food was beautiful, the room was comfortable and warm. And the staff were welcoming and extremely friendly. The rooms are well equipped tv's, coffee and tea making equipment, bottles of water. Brilliant shower too! Will definitely be back!!
