Once again Newton Stewart excels with the quality of service at another local venue. Very friendly staff that made our party of ten, plus our pet dog, very welcome. Lovely food, reasonably priced. We will be back.

If you want good food at reasonable prices, friendly staff and the added bonus of your dog being allowed in while you eat, then this is the place to go. The food was excellent with good portion sizes and served piping hot. Their sign says dog and family friendly and it certainly is. Well done.

We had both our dogs with us and were welcomed into the restaurant area which was lovely as usually we r sent to the bar because of the dogs. Candles lit... More

We called for a meal as a family and our dog. A lovely lady greeted us and said we could sit in the bar area to eat with our dog. Nothing was a problem to her, she served us drinks, brought menus and was very accommodating. To my husband and sons delight there were fajitas on the menu! The food... More

Once again I have to put what a fantastic place this is. As usual the Carvery was amazing everything on there was homemade by a chef that you can always tell takes pride in his work. It`s such good value for money and its worth every penny.... the apple and cinnamon crumble is to die for once again all homemade,... More

We only had a meal in this hotel. We were served by Faith, a local lass. Meal was excellent, service impeccable. The dining room was empty, so we hade the place to ourselves. Unfortunately not enough people dine here. Probably only due to the quiet time of the year/season. Well done Faith.
