Our hosts, Lisa and Colin, were really friendly and welcoming, to the extent of a jug of fresh milk to make tea on arrival (much needed!). Our room was huge and had a fabulous bathroom. The guest house is very central and convenient for restaurants. The breakfast was not quite as good with request for well done sausages not taken on board. They were very helpful in recommending a great place to pick up a packed lunch in the morning.

We have just returned from a fantastic few nights at this wonderful guest house. I am incredibly picky, and prefer to choose accomodation myself, after extensive research. The current surge in staycations however, meant that whilst we wanted to visit the beautiful Northumbrisn coastline, availability was incredibly limited. As such, my partner found, and booked this accomodation a little further afield. I feared that as a room was available last minute, that our stay would be disappointing. How wrong could I be ? The location, on a beautiful cobbled square, packed with shops, restaurants and pubs, at the side of the river Tweed, and overlooking the ruins of Kelso Abbey, was simply perfect. The accomodation was fantastic. By far the most spotlessly clean place we have ever stayed. Huge room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom, and an incredible freshly cooked breakfast. The hosts were friendly, yet unobtrusive. I really cannot find fault, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An excellent base for exploring both sides of the border with ease. Huge thank yous to Colin and Lisa. Awesome hosts.

A lovely two night stay August 2021. Very clean spacious room and 10/10 for breakfast - loved the haggis 😍. Beds are comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming. The town is right on your doorstep. The bar next door does fantastic cocktails and has Moretti on tap. We visited Holy Island and Berwick Upon Tweed which is about a 40 minute drive. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back one day.

Its been years since I have been up to the Borders and found a fantastic Bed and Breakfast in Inglestone House. Colin and Lisa could not have been any more friendly and its a wonderful place to stay. Exceptionally clean and breakfast was wonderful. Cannot fault in any way and cannot wait to go back, both myself and my wife love the place and the area. Also had a great meal at the Lemon and Thyme Restaurant, completely stuffed and watered LOL

Six of us always stay at Inglestone House when we attend the Kelso Country and Western Festival twice a year. Colin and Lisa make us feel really welcome each time, and we all enjoy the relaxed atmosphere they create. Must also mention that the breakfasts are delicious! The B&B is very central, and ideally situated to visit the Abbey and the Kelso shops. We always eat at the Waggon Inn nearby (you get 10% off if you tell them you're staying at Inglestone House)

Stayed here for a Ladies Curling Competition. This was our 4th year of staying here and it never disappoints - infact gets better and better!! Colin and Lisa are absolute stars - the perfect hosts and happy to carry out any of our requests. They make our annual visit to Kelso so much fun!! The rooms are great and the breakfast is fantastic. We’ll be back next year 😀

Excellent location just off the main square. We had a warm friendly welcome and service over breakfast was equal to it. Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The only issue can be parking but there is a large public car park close by.
