We spent 4 nights at Craiglinnhe House, using it as a base for our Glencoe experience. Our host Lawrence was very attentive, accommodating and helpful - always happy to offer advice and lend us maps and books. The location is magnificent, and our room with the loch views was very luxuriant. It was always great to relax in the lounge...

Stayed just 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Great location, right on the water front. Very cozy and Lawrence was a superb host! Extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. A truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the comfort of Craiglinnhe House and a traditional stay in Scotland. Personable host Laurence has fantastic ideas of what to do in the area from restaurants in walking-distance, distilleries, hikes. He is lovely to talk with, greets guests with tea in the sitting room by the fire. Our favorite element, other than fresh cooked breakfast, was the honor bar...

The hotel was just what we wanted and hoped for. Warm and friendly and cosy. There was a lovely wood burning fire, comfy room and lovely food. It overlooked the loch as well. Lawerence and Katrina were lovely hosts, always welcoming and helpful, they made us feel at home immediately.

lovely old, well preserved and appointed building. Best breakfast we had in our 10 days touring Scotland. Paved bike/hike path runs alongside the loch out the front door - we walked to dinner (1/2 hour) - made for a wonderful evening.

Stayed for two nights in late October, celebrating our wedding anniversary. Between Lawrence's hospitality and Katrina's superb cooking, it really could not have been a better stay. Rooms extremely cosy and comfortable, lovely view across the water from our room, which was equipped with a coffee maker, a DAB radio and a TV with a perfectly acceptable choice of channels...

My husband and I needed to get away for 24hrs to reconnect with ourselves and one another amidst the busyness of life - this was the place. Lawrence and Katrina provide the perfect mix of attentive service but space to relax. Beautiful scenery no matter what the weather and great breakfast to start the day! (Followed by a speedy yomp...

This is a model B&B which anticipates your every need. Lawrence acts as front of house and could not have been more helpful. Katrina provided very tasty food. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there are drying facilities for those who get wet on the hills. Every detail is addressed here and I would give my unqualified endorsement.
