No elevator, room had a hint of mold smell, and no wifi the entire time (was told wifi was not working in the entire area). Pretty water view, good (free) parking, nice bar staff, and good breakfast. Lots of things in the area to go see and take photos of.

Aimee H im so happy to read that you enjoyed your breakfast with us and found our staff to be nice, I do hope that the fact this old building doesn't have a lift would not deter from another visit.

The hotel was a beautiful old building that felt very Scottish, and was in the middle of the Highlands, with a good location between Fort William an Glencoe. We only stayed one night and arrived a lot later than we had planned due to traffic from an accident en route, and the staff were very accommodating of this, telling us...

Well, what can I say about this hotel? What a lovely place to stay. Fantastic food, comfortable and elegantly designed public rooms to relax in, superb clean and nicely-decorated bedrooms, (we had a huge queen-sized bed and top-notch bathroom, plus shuttered windows which meant for a great night's sleep), friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely be back! I normally...

Excellent value paid £103 for 2 for dinner (3 courses) and bed and breakfast. Room good, bathroom a bit dated, bed excellent, 3 course dinner was very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good, would stay again.

My boyfriend and I visited for 2 night stay and it was really pleasant. The location is beautiful, with views of the loch and mountains, and is just a short drive away from Fort William and Glencoe. There is a lovely sitting room on the front of the hotel that looked quite cosy and the staff were all very pleasant...

Having spent our honeymoon in this hotel some time ago, our daughter paid for us to spend a night back at the Ballachulish. Although I would say the hotel has declined slightly we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay. Staff were good, room was very adequate.

Booked a last minute overnight stay here with EasyBreaks when we realised the weather was going to be unseasonably warm for March. The deal was DBB with comp room upgrade and bottle of prosecco. We checked in and then had a couple of reasonably priced beers in the sunshine. I don't know if we got the upgrade or not, but...

We stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved this hotel. Yes rooms are a little tired but clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were dinner, bed and breakfast, the food was fresh, outstanding and plentiful. The staff were very helpful, friendly and well organised, nothing was a problem. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, and sitting outside...

The hotel is beautifully situated and the location is a perfect base for exploring the stunning surroundings. Unfortunately, fittings and furnishings are really tired and need an urgent investment. The bathroom was dated with lino floors and cracked tiles and there was a lot of dust behind the door. The tub wasn't clean and the shower was lacklustre. The bed...

Brilliant stay here with friends, hotel so much more than we expected. The rooms were a little bit tired and do need a little bit of tlc, especially the bathroom and the stained carpet in our room but on the plus side the bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows. We had a brilliant rate for dbb over 2 nights...
