The twin room we were in was not spacious, it was fairly small but it has everything you need, good amount of storage, comfortable beds, TV, toiletries, lovely big towels (proper bath sheet....perfect!) and was quiet for a good nights sleep. Room was adequately clean and in reasonable state of repair but due an overhaul soon I would have thought....

We have dined at the Wheatsheaf Inn on several Sundays. over the last couple of years. They are usually extremely busy which surely is a sign that the food and service is very good. Only one gripe and that is it sometimes feels quite cramped for space having to leave one's seat to allow people to pass, but that is...

After spending week 1 of a 2 week business trip at the Gatwick Europa Hotel (avoid like the plague but that's another story) we had to find somewhere else to stay the 2nd week and we stumbled across the Wheatsheaf Inn that was only a couple of miles from our job. It's a really nice pub with good food, a...

The bed room was spacious and clean albeit the en suite facilities were a little cramped. To be fair the owners have made very good use of the limited space available. The staff were both polite and helpful. The accommodation was very reasonably priced and I am likely to return in the near future for social reasons rather than business

Stayed overnight prior to flight out of Gatwick North terminal. Inn only 20 mins drive to terminal (might be a bit longer during rush hours). Room small but adequate with some road noise. Bathroom dated but clean. Price included breakfast which was good also had dinner in restaurant which again was good. We were told upon arrival that there was...

We rang up that morning and asked if it would be possible to have early entry to the rooms we had booked so we could get changed for the wedding. When we arrived at about 11.00, both rooms had been cleaned and available for our use. Terrific customer care and we could not have received a warmer welcome even though...

Stayed at The Wheatsheaf Inn in Cuckfield Sussex for one night on a business trip with a colleague. We shared a twin bedded room to save money as this is a new venture. I was slightly nervous having not shared a bedroom with anyone but my wife for over 30 years. The room was small but comfortably furnished with two...

On arrival we were greated by a very polite young lady who showed us to our room. Our initial worries about the road turned out to be unfounded despite having the window open it actually generated little noise for a saturday night. The room was spotless although looked a little dated in decor. That said it is an old pub...

We always go here on a Tuesdays to their very popular pub quiz - a lot of fun. Our family compete as a team and we always eat. The food is good there's plenty of it although I would say its pub grub (but good). Go to the quiz and have some fun!
