We stayed for two nights in the old inn. We were impressed with our room and the views were amazing from our window. The pub food was standard tasty pub grub however our chicken starter was raw in the middle but was quickly resolved. There was a good atmosphere in the pub but the service was not great. Felt we... It's many years since we stayed at The Old Inn and it's much improved, not a criticism. Our stay was really enjoyable, lovely room, the staff were superb and I just can't fault it. The food was great, and I've never tasted a more delicious Venison Steak in my life. The only down side was on our last night, and... More

Very pleasant surroundings and a welcoming bar and little restaurant. It is not that bad because I stayed two nights and came back later for one more night. However, here follows a little advice for the owners. While you are closed in the winter give the place a thorough clean and go on a course to learn how to create... More

Room facilities very comfortable, excellent value for a 3star establishment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a 5 month old puppy, housetrained but at that age you never know! Highly recommended if you are doing the "500". Extensive choice for breakfast.

Very pleasant room on 1st floor with private terrace / balcony overlooking the footbridge. The ensuite shower room was well appointed, with a step up to the shower & heated towel rail. Food was in the dining room overlooking the grounds / car park to the rear. Each table had a tea-light for the evening meal and there were fresh... More

Quaint, cosy, good food, our favourite return hotel. So - having read recent reviews I thought I would come to the aid of one of my favourite small hotels in one of the best areas of the West Highlands. This is not a corporate hotel a for those types who have been watching too much Hotel Inspector but a small... More

Stopped in early October. Expected to find a quaint old inn. The reality was an old inn in need of modernising and staff in need of training or supervision. No one on reception. Breakfast quite basic. Rooms no better than a budget hotel. Several awards displayed but all from years gone by. There are far better options avavailble.

We found this Inn on the road to Skye. Typical Inn with a nice tavern and a fairly good restaurant. A two-mile path from the facility leads through woods to a waterfall. Across the street is marine attractions. Helpful staff.

First off, the room was nice. Super king bed, and looks like it was recently decorated. Down side, the building is suffering from neglect! The gutter above the window was either blocked or cracked as there was a constant waterfall pouring down the window and battering onto the sill throughout the whole night (yes it was pouring down). Reported this... More

When we arrived there wasn't anybody on reception although we could hear voices but that was from the bar. Stood around for quite a while whilst repressing bell but took ages for somebody to arrive. Room was ok, but nothing brilliant. Window looked out onto parking and also side steps where kitchen staff came and went so we heard them... More
