This has got to be the dirtiest and smelliest hotel I have ever stayed in if I hadn't had a drink I would of driven home the smell might of been the so called gentleman behind the bar because his attitude stinks this is a genuine review do not stay here

Stayed the weekend of the 8th Feb 2014 Friday, Saturday nights. The hotels a bit run down and scruffy, but it's in a nice location (you could see the sea from our window), overpriced, very much in need of TLC. Big dirty cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, dirty cups under the bed. Our bathroom was arctic, and the staff rigged...

the schooner is a fantastic place to stay staff so frendly and helpfull food amazing there were 8 in our party and we all loved it a very spooky but welcoming place to stay we would recomend it to everyone

We stayed here for a ghost hunt with Spooky Nights. Our double room was lovely and clean with a big comfy bed. The staff were really friendly whilst we were waiting and the food was lovely. Could over look the poor cleanliness of room. However, what couldn't overlook was the fact we complained about the level of noise from adjoining room 3 times. Playing music (until we decided to leave @ 2am) to levels which was shaking our whole room, having a party which was littering the corridors with empty bottles. I understand they were there...

came for one night to relax... staff were really friendly,, how ever the room wasnt very clean,, we told the staff that we had found remains of drugs in the bedside cabnet, they didnt seem to bothered and nothing was done about this.. the food was fine,, parking is a problem also.. its just a shame the room wasnt clean...

Had a meal here from the normal menu and couldn't fault it,I had for a starter coujon and my wife bruschetta and they were very enjoyable,for mains I had gammon and all the trimmings inc egg,pineapple chips and peas.the service was good and quick,could fault it and at a good price.

Found no bumps in the night but staff were extremely friendly rooms were immaculate and very well decorated parking was a bit of a problem had to park down the street 200 metres away food was very good and reasonably priced
