Stayed two nights for a weekend break and what a treat! The breakfast was superb and Suzy was on hand to give some very good advice regarding travel and eating out. We had a delightful room overlooking the picturesque garden. We would definitely recommend Newburgh House, especially to those who would appreciate a property with such character.

The B&B itself is OK - some would say 'vintage' though really more 'tired'.....towels are rationed! Pillows and duvet were exceptional! Room and bathroom were large - we were there for a wedding so we weren't there too much. Unfortunately the welcome we received from Suzy was frosty at best...a smile really doesn't cost that much. My partner was made...

Stayed two nights for a country break. The room was wonderful very large with nice seating area, an equally large bathroom. Very clean and large comfy bed. Good breakfast. The whole experience did confirm however that bandb is not for us, we usually stay in hotels. We had a very lukewarm welcome, the walk from the car park to the...

We booked Newburgh House for relatives travelling up for my daughter's wedding at Newburgh Priory. My son-in-law's family were absolutely delighted with the welcome and attention they received over the weekend. Suzy and Colin are delightful hosts and even put on a pre-wedding lunch for everyone staying. Every bedroom is beautifully and individually decorated and furnished in a country house...

The breakfasts were excellent & whilst eating, we sat & enjoyed the wildlife visiting the walled garden. The house & surrounding gardens are beautiful....

Welcoming hosts, delightful accommodation, great food. What's not to like? Spotlessly clean, spacious accommodation had a cozy feel of welcome. Extensive choice of food all well cooked and presented and local.

Stayed at Newburgh House for 2 nights. It's a beautiful house which is maintained to a high standard with a lovely large garden. We stayed in a double en-suite room overlooking the garden. The room was a great size with an excellent sized bathroom, lovely white fluffy towels. The bed was really comfortable with feather filled pillows and duvet. I...

Beautiful room over looking the garden. Kept warm with a modern heater and all the features in the room were very old and in excellent working order. Breakfast was served down stairs and there was a lot of choice.

The Newburgh House is a spectacular, cosy guest house, perfect for anyone who wants to experience Yorkshire to the fullest. Suzy and Colin were very kind and welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure my trip was successful and enjoyable.
