We had dinner here which was very good. Be prepared for ‘Yorkshire portions ‘ which are large and very filling. Many locals seem to use this as well which I always think is a good recommendation. The service was very friendly.

The Richard the Third is a family-run, very homely hotel - lots of cushions, cuddlies and books. Our room on the 2nd floor was very comfortable and overlooked the 'market place'. There is no lift but that's fine for us.
