Just returned from an excellent stay here! Quirky place with lots of history, witch shows in the staffs passion for the place. Lovely cosy room with an amazing comfort bed! Amazing breakfast! Everything we needed to have a relaxing and throughly enjoyable stay! Will differently be returning!

Where do I begin. From Ben asking if he could help us with our bags as we were getting out of the car, bringing us drinks as we relaxed in front of the roaring fire, or Thomas making sure our room was perfect, or Izzy being engaging - the visit started amazingly. Our room was lovely, with a chocolate on...

A 17th century ex nautical boys boarding school, transformed into a 12 room hotel in a very idyllic setting. The hotel Manager, Lizzie, is absolutely fantastic & her colleague Daniel, an absolute darling! Everything about this hotel makes you feel like you've stepped back in time, it's a really interesting place to stay. I could have stayed in the there...

On 20th January 2017 we had a fantastic celebration- a taster meal for eight people at the Serenditpity restaurant. From the moment we walked through the door the welcome was superb, and the staff were top notch. Each course was a surprise and imaginatively presented; all thirteen dishes were tasty and real quality! A huge thank you to Paul and...

We stayed here for a catch-up with friends and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed warmly by Paul and Izzy and taken to our rooms. It would be unfair to compare this mature property to for example a Holiday Inn or Premier Inn. The name is a bit of a give away as that is what it once was...

Went for the 7 course tasting menu. Was actually 14 courses. Great food, fantastic staff, hugely enjoyable experience, will definitely be back. Don't have anything extra to say but TripAdvisor say I need to write more. That should do it!

Exactly what is says on the tin. Couldn't reccomend this place enough. The hotel itself is situated in a fantastic central location in Louth, with free onsite parking. The perfect place to stay over in Louth, and to eat the incredible food in the Serendipity restaurant.

I have lived in Louth for 5 years now and have always wanted to try Pauls food. I finally got the chance on my birthday. The Tim Burton themed evening for Halloween was amazing. The food was quirky and tasted amazing! We had 15 courses! And Paul had made me an amazing birthday cake and the staff took it out...

We stayed at the Priory for 3 nights and can't praise it enough! How easy it would be to book into the usual boring hotel we see all the world over that is instantly forgettable. We will Not forget the Priory. The building and grounds are beautiful. The hospitality was quite the best I have received. Nothing was too much...

We visited last week and had a truly enjoyable evening. We ended up with 12 courses instead of the 9 we paid for. Each course was a real little gem. There is a lot of imagination in the kitchen which is reflected onto the table. The staff where very polite and made you feel wanted. Well done to everyone involved...
