A lovely property in a wonderful peaceful location. Wickham house is surrounded by lovely gardens and is surrounded by countryside. Rooms were very comfortable and an excellent tasty breakfast was also served up. The hosts were very nice and ensured guests were catered for efficiently. Nearest place to eat or grab a drink is a mile and a half away...

Spent two nights here and used it as a base for exploring this part of Lincolnshire. We were given a warm welcome by Ann with homemade scones and tea. We had an upstairs double en suite, very comfortable and quirky. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order. You do need transport here for getting out and about - the nearest village...

My wife and I booked into Wickham House as we were visiting Cadwell for the Super Bikes weekend. The house is 3 cottages made into one and the properties were built in the 1600's. Set in beautiful gardens and next to a very old church. We were greeted by Ann at the door and shown to our room upstairs overlooking...

Charming en suite room downstairs. Arrived to warm scones, jam and tea. Shared Snug downstairs with large TV and comfy chairs. Free wifi in room. Good breakfast. Free to stay on premises if you want to chill in the garden or house. A great place to relax. Not too far to drive to the sea. Top tips on where to...

We received a warm welcome from Ann on our arrival and were delighted first of all by the glorious English country garden. Sadly we didn't have time to sit and enjoy it but it truly is stunning. We just loved our bedroom in the eaves, very Beatrix Potter! All was very clean and comfortable. I imagine that visitors from overseas...

Like the previous reviewer my husband and I stayed at Wickham House when on a visit to Donna Nook to see the seals. We found Ann and Paul very welcoming and friendly. We too were given tea and home-made scones on arrival in the cosy little library. Our ground floor room had everything we needed including comfortable beds. Breakfast was well...

We found Wickham house by chance and at short notice on the internet when heading to visit the breeding seals at the Donna Nook Grey Seal colony (NB well worth a visit - one of the best UK native wildlife experiences). The owners (Ann and Paul) were welcoming from the outset - offering tea and home made scones/home made jams/cream...

How on earth this has a 4 star rating is unbelievable! The teapot in the room had months of grime in there, so did the cups, solitary teaspoon, the kettle and the drinking glasses - we just could not use them they were filthy. We tried boiling water but they really needed a good hot soak in bleach and washing...

I have had two Quality Assurance inspections since this reveiw and mantained my 4 star silver rating, one stained tea pot does not make my bed and breakfast dirty! I must have missed this when cleaning as it was a very busy time. I have many excellent reports in my guest book whick anyone can read, I do not like...
