We had our intimate wedding (my little devon wedding package) at the hotel last Friday, and we are so glad we held it here! Everything was fantastic! The staff were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Due to the weather we had the picnic indoors which was great fun. We had a large table to accommodate all of...

Set in a quiet and peaceful location ensuring that luncheon in the Wildflower Restaurant was wonderful. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food was superbly presented and very tasty. Steak cooked to perfection. Lunch menu included light bites but not starters, however the main course was large and filling so just as well no starter, ensuring room for...

Booking direct with hotel for 8 was simple - 3 couples staying 2 nights and further couple 1 night. Dinner for 6 in the hotel on the first night was right decision and superb. Choice, quality and service first class.. We joined 50 or so for lunch on Sunday (this was the main reason for staying here) and also had...

Stayed here the night before and night of our wedding and couldn't have asked for anything better. We had booked a Junior Suite, but were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Forget-me-not Suite, which is a generous suite with a balcony overlooking the grounds. Every single member of staff we spoke too was welcoming and professional and happy to...

Bottom line We really enjoyed our stay here apart from the weather, but you can't blame that on the hotel. We stayed in the Peony Suite a good sized room, comfortable bed, good aspect, as far as we were concerned no problems there. We didn't have an evening meal here so I cannot comment on the quality or service in...

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the weather was not better, but am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We do have marmalade available from the buffet, and am very sorry that it was not visible to you. I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to the Moorland Garden hotel on a...

Old hotel but kept in good order and on lovely grounds, good spacious rooms and some with large balcanies. Food of good quality, my only gripe was dinners were all substantial which for most is great but a little more lighter bites would be nice on the menu. Think maybe dog friendly as a dog seen & heard out walking...

My wife and I had an amazing stay here. Everything was superb! The room was beautiful, the restaurant and food were both superb, and every single member of staff that we met were attentive, polite, friendly and professional. We are looking forward to staying here again soon

Moorland Garden Hotel is situated on Dartmoor, which makes the setting beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, and there is plenty of parking. Our room overlooked the lawn and gardens which was very peaceful with plenty of bird song. The room was large with a nice ensuite, the bed was very comfy, also there...

The food was very good - well presented and beautifully cooked. There could perhaps have been a slightly greater choice if you were going to stay longer than a couple of days, but as we only stayed over the weekend, it was fine for us. Service was good, but perhaps rather slow. On Sunday, breakfast was self service and cooked...

We stayed for 2 nights in this very pleasant hotel, which is located on Dartmoor part way between Plymouth and Yelverton. It is set well away from the main road and has lovelly gardens. Thank you for your recent review. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We allocated room 110 as it was the only twin we had available for the dates of your stay. We do offer a buffet style breakfast service when the hotel is busy, but other breakfast items can still be ordered from the menu. I hope to...
