This was our first stay (2 nights) and we will certainly return as it is lovely to be on a real farm where the setting and comfort is excellent. Esme's breakfast have to be tried because they are outstanding and better than any that we have experienced in the last 20/30 years. Well done Esme and Brian for a very...

Family of five had a great stay at Callisham Farm this summer. The farm itself is very nice and Esme and Brian excellent hosts. The rooms are spacious, cosy, clean and have a nice view to the surrounding areas which is great to wake up to in the mornings. The breakfast is the best English breakfast we had in our...

We stayed three nights at Callisham Farm and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home is very comfortable and the family is very friendly. It is a short walk to the village pub where we ate our dinner each night and it's an easy walk to get onto the moors. We loved the peace and quiet of the farm while being close...

I stayed at Callisham Farm during the May bank holiday as I was attending a wedding in Meavy. I could not have wished for a more pleasant stay. What a warm welcome I received, Jacko, one of the dogs met me at my car and showed me the way to the front door. Esme then greeted me as though I...

A warm genuine welcome received from Esme and her family. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and lovely.rural views. We could watch the swallows flying and the cows and horses grazing in the fields nearby. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Several way marked walks accessed directly from the farm including one...

Stayed for three nights and wish it could have been more. Esme and Brian and the dogs welcomed us as long lost friends (third visit). Everything is genuine, authentic quality and very good value. Comfortably spacious room and bed - good tv reception (if you have time) and breakfasts that last all day. The setting is a typically beautiful Devon...

A cow was calving as we arrived on our bikes, obviously a real working farm! The setting is splendid - like something out of a Rupert Bear annual, in a green, wooded valley with a view fo the village and church below. We had been warned that our hostess Esme might be late to meet us but we needn't have worried,...

We stayed a couple of nights at this lovely b&b on the edge of Dartmoor, after reading the great reviews. Everything was as good as had been reported - an interesting building with clean well-equipped rooms, and, best of all, a warm welcome from Esme and Brian and the farm dogs. Within easy reach of a great pub too. Would...

Stayed with my 16 year old son at the end of our coast to coast cycling trip or nearly the end. I didn't want to stay in Plymouth and am so glad that I chose Callisham Farm. I read the reviews and as others have said Esme and Brian are such nice people, I don't think there is much I...
